Anyway, I suggest that Raquel tries to Sleep one of the Hexmasters again. She almost had it last time, so I'm sure one last go will do it. And maybe Tantallos can take out, or at least distract, the other one?

((What the fuck. I counted at least five, possibly six different actions in that one turn:
Shooting crossbow (standard)
Moving closer to Aurel (move)
Slashing at Aurel (another standard, though there might have been an action to switch from crossbow to slashing weapon at some point)
Dashing through group, dealing damage (possibly a minor)
Attacking Weston (action point)

This isn't a just a "DM-designed PC", this is cheap as fuck.))

It's odd because 1: It is the first time I have encountered personification in the area of battleships, and 2: I needed a lead in to a weak joke that also alludes to a Garfield strip I read once.

You're thinking of War of the Human Tanks, on Steam. It's...odd. I kinda liked the story that was beginning to develop (just played the demo) but could not get into the actual game. Shame.

Good point. Hey, if Gurren Laggan can have mecha piloting larger mecha, then it makes perfect sense to assume a ship-turned-into-a-girl can be part of another ship's crew.

I'd pick something that didn't outnumber humanity so much, unless you were referring to a single species of spider.

Personally I'd go with octopi. They're pretty damn smart anyway, so "uplifting" them wouldn't be so far out of the realm of possibilty.
