You spread it on bread. Or pancakes or waffles, if you're making a sandwich out of those. Or not, even. Also pretty good on sausage. And bacon.

It counts well enough, s'far as I'm concerned.

You do not spread actual jelly on anything. Jam, yes. But not jelly.
What exactly are you speaking of when you say jelly? Because here jelly is kinda-sorta-not-quite jam.

YES. You and your cousin did an amazing job, Furt!
Damn, seriously? A whole year? Time flies, I guess.

Cuz I usually give the people near the Skyranger's exit smoke grenades in case they're needed.

What about jelly, or its cousin jam?

March 22nd, 1999

More soldiers have arrived along with additional researchers. Now that we have some things to study we need their services more than ever. Soldier profiles below:

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
The engineers are hard at work building more laser guns and we just got a shipment of conventional weaponry. All we can do at this point is prepare for the next fight.

At this point it might be wise to start building a second base to expand our coverage. Unfortunately we're running a little low on funds at the moment, so that's a bit of a pipe dream right now. We're taking suggestions for placement from the soldiers though.

Please let this be a prank.

Although the Council was, for the first time, generally pleased with X-COM's efforts in the past month, India has withdrawn from the project. I suppose I can't blame them much after what happened to Calcutta, but I had hoped that they'd have recognized just how unprepared we were and how the situation has been slowly improving. Time to start drinking again...

The scientists have finished examining the "heavy plasma", and know how it works and how to use it. We can also produce our own with the alien alloys we've been collecting, but since we only have a couple of clips which we can't even use yet that's not a wise use of resources at the moment.

Also, the second Interceptor found something. It engages right away.

The pilot scores a hit, but the UFO immediately flees! And unfortunately Lt John Baker is currently on patrol over North America, way too far to help catch and shoot down the aliens. I order him back anyway, just in case.

Turns out it was a wasted order. The second interceptor catches up to the UFO over the Himalayas and shoots it down. The Skyranger, loaded with fresh rookies, launches in five minutes.

Operation Screaming Harpoon

Vector Syinth: "Sheesh, this place looks nasty. Smoke out!"

R-110B: "EDGE OF TARGET UFO SIGHTED. CAUTION RECOMMENDED."

R-110B: "ALERT. UNKNOWN TARGET IDENTIFIED. REQUESTING INSTRUCTIONS."
: "That's...that's not a Sectoid. What the hell is that?"
Roman Howard: "Maybe its friendly?"
: "I doubt it would be flying around with the Sectoids in a Sectoid craft if it was. Take it down!"
R-110B: "ACKNOWLEDGED. OPENING FIRE."

R-110B: "TARGET ELIMINATED."

Vector Syinth: "I see another of the slinkies on the other side of the UFO. Taking cover!"

John DakkaDakka: "Sumthin's over there. FIRE IN THE HOLE!"

John DakkaDakka: "Whahahahahaha!"

Vector Syinth: "Got mine."

John Miller: "Whatever shot at Dakka, it's still alive. Smoke out!"

John Miller: "Also, I found a cave."

John DakkaDakka: "Ow! Takes more dan dat ta kill me!"
John Miller: "'I've got a medkit, I'll fix Dakka up."

Broomy McBucket Mk2: "FR0Nt Doo(r)!"

Whizzy McGun: "Oh shit, I see it! It's right outside the cave the Johns are hiding in!"
Roman Howard: "Miller, take it down!"
John Miller: "I'm afraid I might hit Dakka, and if I move it'll know I'm here for sure!"
Roman Howard: "Just do it!"

John Miller: "Huh. That was easy."

Almost a perfect mission. The only casualty was John DakkaDakka, and he should be fine after a few days in the medical bay. Of course, we also discovered that the Sectoids were not the only species threatening mankind. Who knows how many other surprises await us?

John DakkaDakka got promoted to Sergeant, apparently at random. I don't know what sort of criteria HR has for determining who gets promoted, but I guess getting wounded helps.

Get the dye bucket mod. It makes dyes work, adds a bunch of new colors, and dyed equipment retains the color even if you go into a vanilla server. You can bleach dyed items for something like 20 pix to return them to their default coloring. It's baws.
Link? Also, does it break existing characters?

"Well, he finally said something that didn't involve injuring horses. That's...a plus, I suppose? And no, I don't think Nimue would be able to fly through those tunnels. Sorry."

If there isn't a red version of that hat, I will be very upset.

((Point is they're considered incorruptible in-universe. Considering just how nasty Chaos and the Warp is, I find it hard to believe shadow beasties that 2nd-level characters can kill could do the job. But, whatever...))

Weston unequips his staff to equip his lightning dagger instead.
"Well, it was nice knowing you gentlemen. Any last words before we're overwhelmed and consumed?"

18791
((The 40k fan in me is little miffed that you corrupted a Grey Knight, considering that not one of them has ever fallen to Chaos...))

I really should have done that instead of ordering what I did. I typically love salads but that one was just awful.

Best fries are untainted by condiments. If they are thus inedible, then they are unworthy to be called fries. Nay, then they must be called potato-sourced garbage.
Do you consider seasoned fries (like the curly ones at some restaurants) to be "untainted"? Because if you consider those to be tainted, yer missing out on something amazing dude.
Oh, my, yes. Seasoning != condiment. Then it's just part of the fry, after all.

I'll admit to having a fondness for chili cheese fries, but they tend to be made with not-very-good fries anyway, and conceptually I think of it as an entirely different dish. Like how a steak is different from beef wellington.
Thank goodness. I was going to have to denounce you as a heretic otherwise :P

I eat my fries with ketchup, or in certain cases (sweet potato fries mostly) nothing at all.
