I assume you would get the citizenship of your parents. Now if we're talking some generation ship where people have been born in space for centuries...dunno.

The world through the eyes of M. Night Shymalan, ladies and gentlemen.
I still haven't actually watched any of his movies... Any of them worth it?
Yes. Unbreakable. That's pretty much the only movie of his I actually managed to sit through, and it was not bad. Then again, I still haven't seen Devil, so as far as I know it might be good.
From what I saw? It wasn't.
Opinion should be taken with a massive dose of salt.I actually liked Signs. Unironically.

Other Games / Re: XCOM: Enemy Unknown (New by Firaxis)
« on: February 04, 2014, 09:41:33 pm »
Enemy could also mean Berserker. I had a lot of success with luring berserkers into easy scatter laser/alloy cannon range and getting a free shot on them from CCS triggering. Best part is that CCS doesn't make the berserker move towards the assault.

Benny uses a 9mm pistol with pearl grips named Maria. Not a revolver. No he's not notable. That pistol is also just the ugliest, gaudiest piece of crap in the game.

Oh yeah, that's right.
...Wait, ugliest? ??? Are we talking about the same gun?
I remember it being pretty damn awesome, with a biblical scene on the side or whatever.

Not that I ever really used guns that much in NV. THERMIC LAAAAAAAAAANCCCC-- oh wait everyone is dead already. Welp.

I thiiiink it was 'A light shining in the darkness' however that was Joshua Fucking Graham's gun you get after Honest Hearts.

For comparison.

Aaaand now I realize you are right and I am wrong. Damn. Anyway, have fun with the images regardless.
Your BBCode-fu is weak, grasshopper :P

Well, take it easy tonight and get plenty of rest. Your immune system will be even tougher with a full night's sleep to work with.

: "That's all you've got? Humph. Gregor, you might want to move ahead! They've got nasty-looking front liners!"
: "Thankfully, we do as well!"

Move to (16, 15). Equip Steel Javelin!

I hear that 7-Up (or whatever lemon-lime soda you prefer) also helps, but orange juice is probably better for you :/

Started my day at home.
By lunchtime I was in San Francisco.
Now I am in Nevada.

Good, productive day. As long as the weather cooperates, I can keep this up.
But...
the weather refused to cooperate.

Must have gone through at least four different patches of snowfall, one of them by far the worst (low visibility, snow build-up on the road, very slow traffic, etc). AND YET I managed to get through Nevada and Utah and am now in Wyoming. That's over 500 miles.

I'd tell the weather to "bring it on", but I'm not suicidal :P

General Discussion / Re: Bay12's Desktops

Things I haven't done in half a year: change desktops.  Actually, the last time I think I had just ships on my background was 2001, if this is right.  It's a little gloomy, though; I don't change my backgrounds nearly as often as I used to, but even so, I'm not sure if it'll last.

Thanks for the artist link. For some reason I really like these sort of post-apoc images :p

Goddamn all your stuff looks delicious but I'm a vegetarian and couldn't even theoretically taste it D:
I'm sure you could substitute at least some of the meat with tofu or whatever, right?

Eh?  Buddha's Delight *is* vegetarian :).
Good news for kaijyuu then! :)

Been lucky so far. Only got actually snowed-on twice. On the second occasion late last month it was fairly light and the snowplows were busy pretty much non-stop. Only really had to slow to a crawl on hills and still managed nearly 600 miles that day.

The first time was back in freaking September (or possibly October. It was early for the area in any case), and it cemented my dislike of snow driving possibly for eternity. Got stuck in the mountains in stationairy traffic for 2 hours, as snow began piling up all over the place. Eventually a plow managed to carve out a single lane to get us moving again, but it was very slick, very slow work. I couldn't go more than about 10 mph without starting to lose traction.

Play With Your Buddies / Re: Let's Play OpenXcom! (always recruiting)
« on: February 03, 2014, 10:18:01 pm »
Going to drag up this app that I put in immediately after the first mission of OpenXcom's post.

Name: Vector Syinth
Preferences (weapons, stats, etc): Bravery, Firing Accuracy, Reactions, Health, Stamina, Assault Rifle if there are no Sniper Rifles
Bio: A genetically synthesized soldier designed with improved vision, speed, health, and focus.  The entity believes heavily in respect for authority.  His authority.  He frequently uses bigoted language towards anyone else.

Be patient, dude. You're on the waiting list. I "dorf" everyone in order of posting (give or take a few slots), so you might be in the next batch.
