All combine to make driving today something close to nightmare-inducing. I don't see how some people drive in this stuff every year, or even year-round ;_;

Doublepost because holy shit. When I went back out to my truck to turn in for the night, I discovered that my nice memory foam mattress pad, normally soft and malleable, was frozen. Kinda. It was so cold in here that, instead of being soft and springing back into shape after applying pressure, it is quite solid and any imprints persist for a few moments. Not all that comfortable.

That still doesn't answer the question of how we'd survive when the Extense King (y'know, the guy with the legendary one-of-a-kind S-Ranked sword) comes back with his army. Because he will come back, you know. Folks who conquer countries don't typically let the country break away so quickly.
