Grifen smiled in nostalgia as Fezz mentioned the plains. She almost felt a wave of homesickness but what the monk said next drove thoughts of Masalla from her mind.

: "So...yer saying ya were born in Troian, but yer kinda from everywhere? That's so weird!" To Grifen, who had lived in one place her entire life and would probably always consider it "home", the concept was frankly astonishing. "Though to be honest I can't really tell from yer voice. Y'all sound kinda strange to me, cept Tacey."

: "Well, okay. So, where's yer pa now? Back in Troian? And what about yer ma?"

Grifen craned her neck from side to side, but could not find any stores that they sought. It was almost like the GM kept forgetting or somehow missing the bolded text they weren't in a market at all!

: "Also, sorry Fezz but I ain't finding anything. Maybe we're in the wrong part of town..."

This is a weird tangent to go on, but I require your help in finding a certain Pokemon LP. I could have sworn it was on SA's LP Archive, but it doesn't seem to be there...

Anyhoo, I'm pretty sure it was of either Leaf Green or Fire Red. Main character was a gamer girl, her starter was a Gulpin, and aside from the screenshots I'm pretty sure there was also some pretty good art. If anyone can throw me a link, it would be appreciated.
This one?
THANK YOU.

Folks must be busy in real life, I guess.

Spoiler: Epic High Five (click to show/hide)
Fixed that for you.
What is that from?

Edit: Chopped down the pyramid.
Fun little indie animation called "The Reward". Check it out if you have eight or so minutes to spare.
Might be NSFW, but its not too bad.

An abridged version of my conversation with my dispatcher:
(this is after I sat around for an hour, BTW)
Me: Anything else for today?
Them: Waiting on planner
Me: Okay. Please let me know if I should go to truck stop.
(several minutes later)
Them: ...Yeah, you should do that

And so here I am again. Despite my complaints about the quality of this stop's WiFi, I have to admit that it easily has the best view of the truck stops I've been to. Up in the hills east of Seattle, crisp and cool but not frostbite-inducing, surrounded by trees and not far away mountains. This would be a nice camp site if not for the constant sound of running diesel engines :P
Hey you're a couple dozen miles from me. High five!

Because I'm a working man with basically no regular schedule to plan for.

I was gonna update today, but now I suddenly don't feel like it.

Other Games / Re: Games that have no business being fun but somehow are

I played a game called Darkened Skye on the GameCube. The thing was essentially a massive advertisement for Skittles - you know, the little fruit-flavored hard candies.

And despite being advertising, the game itself looked really nice and was actually kinda fun. You combined different colors of skittles to do different things, and the dialogue was hilariously tongue-in-cheek. Never did play it to completion as I only ever rented it once, but I certainly wouldn't mind finding it again.

Why does a game about skittles get the edgiest sounding name like Darkened Skye?
It has been many years, mind, but I believe part of the plot was semi-permanent cloud cover over the entire world, and with no sunlight there were no rainbows, and with no rainbows there were no magic skittles. Or maybe I just made that up. Dunno.
