Chances are, if I say I won't be able to make it, they'll have someone else finish the job. See, I'm still a solid 700+ miles from my next destination (which is NOT the final destination) - not really possible to reach with these trucks in the amount of drive time we legally have per day. Add mountains and traffic into the equation, and I'll probably get 500 miles tomorrow if I'm lucky. And the load is due the morning after tomorrow.

BUT! If another driver is in the area and has plenty of drive time remaining, he/she/they can grab the trailer after I stop and he/she/they'll finish the trip. It's actually something this company does fairly often if a load is on a tight time limit.
