Probably most painful experience in my life was a cyst I developed several years ago. I left it alone, hoping it would just go away, but it kept growing and getting worse until the slightest bit of pressure was painful. Not only that, but unrelated patches of skin began feeling like needles were continuously being driven into them.

Eventually I went to the hospital, where at first they merely lanced the cyst and sent me home with stitches. Problem was, the stitches kept getting pulled and the wound refused to heal. Cue another two years of weekly doctor visits, medical vacuums, two surgeries, and some sort of chemical cauterization thing.

I'm fine now except for some scarring, but those two years kinda sucked.

((Second Wind probably wouldn't give enough HP to survive another hit. Lay on hands would probably work slightly better, but at the moment I'm kinda in trouble. Too many bad guys nearby and no one is protecting the squishy sorcerer :P ))

Well, that could have gone better. Could also have gone worse though. Derick oughta be able to cut through those axemen with ease, and we have healers in range to get Charlotte and Chris back up.

I'm gonna have Gregor move north a couple of squares to toss a javelin at Ernest, while also opening room for someone to heal Charlotte. Any objections to this move?

You forgot Furt's character, the childhood companion. Oscar is possibly fourth in line :P

As for making moves...oh, I dunno. Diana's already shown at least one tsundere moment, so my money's on her.

Pretty sure I'm not one of those optimizers either. I hate having negative numbers so I try to ensure that all ability scores have at least a 0 modifier. Even when the ability in question is likely useless for my class :P

((So, what exactly can I do here?))

Apparently I crossed a time zone somewhere and forgot about it. I had planned to go to bed at 9 so I could get a solid six hours of sleep. I was going by my laptop's clock, but if I had checked my phone I would have seen that it was actually 10. Yaaaay 5 hours of sleep :/

Apology accepted, Vector. Guess I should have used my head a little before figuratively opening my mouth :/

Please be exaggerating...

No?  She was in the Hitler Youth and had American planes shooting at her while she was working in the fields and everything.

Did you think they all poofed after WWII or something?  Some of them married nice Lutheran ministers >_>
No need to be rude. I just assumed most of them stayed in Germany/Austria/wherever they lived before the war, instead of moving to one of the countries that beat them. Besides, calling someone a Nazi is such a common insult that it can be hard to know if it is being meant literally or not.

I think he's wondering if she's actually followed/believed the Nazi Ideology, not simply just someone who lived during the Nazi regime.
This, basically.

Ironclaw watched the Dragonkin walk off, puzzled.

"...chosen for what?" He declined to comment on the rudeness; every kobold was all too familiar with the (sometimes justified) arrogance of the Dragonkin.

Diana and Ursa make such a good team O_o

But will they make out?

Huge guy/tiny girl ship, sail on...

Nope.

I grew up in Utah with almost 0 racial tensions. I've been in South Carolina for a year but seem to have been mostly insulated from the particularly egregious racists.

Oh.  Step-grandma's a former Nazi living in rural Missouri.
Please be exaggerating...

Ironclaw shook his head ruefully.

"Not summoned, no. I heard some sort of commotion and heard that the Great Dragon was making an announcement, but Master insisted I weed the fungi garden before I could attend. I just now got here. Do you know what happened?"
