How much would Gauntlets of Shock cost? The Shock modifier is equivalent to the cost of a +1 enchantment, so assuming there are no other enchantments the Shock part would cost 2000gp.
The gauntlets themselves would be cheapest if made of mithral, at only 83.7gp.
The total cost of Mithral Gauntlets of Shock with no other modifiers would be 2083gp, 7sp. If you also added a +1 enchantment to them, the cost would go up to 10,083gp, 7sp, because the cost of a second level enchantment is an additional 8000gp, where the first level of enchantment only costs 2000gp on top of the base cost of the item. Basically, modifiers to weapons and armor will either have a flat cost or have their cost listed as being equivalent to a +n bonus. In the latter case, you check the cost table for enchantments and treat the price as if it had an additional +n levels of enchantment.
