... is there an abbreviation for japan as a nation or nationality that isn't a racial slur? I actually have trouble with that one occasionally m'self, because it is a natural abbreviation and I have a terrible tendency to reduce things in syllables (which is an helluva' statement considering this sentence) and, well...
I've run into that on War Thunder as well. I tend to use JP. (which is it itself an abbreviation for military jet fuel, but....)

JPN?

I would avoid the rereleases. Even if you get them on Steam, you still have to register for a SquareEnix account and log in just to play; no offline option IIRC. Pain in the ass and essentially extra DRM.

Well if "tvaroh" isn't cheese like Wikipedia claims, then what the hell is it exactly?
It's...tvorog. Can't explain. It's like asking a Westerner to explain why donuts aren't bread. But cheese can't be soft, white, and composed of grains, right?

As others have pointed out, it's basically unaged cheese. Cheese is the curds (solids) of milk, seperated by a curdling agent (rennet, lemon juice, acids from fermentation, etc.), and then (depending on the variety of cheese) exposed to some combination of salting, packing, and aging. Notably, it's not ricotta, as that is made from the whey (milk liquids).

So, tvorog is to cheese, what grape juice is to wine. Kind of.

Also, cheese can be soft, hard, white, yellow, orange, grainy, smooth, firm, crumbly, salty, sweet, sour, nutty, and a hundred other adjectives. It's a very versatile foodstuff. A perfect example of a soft, white and grainy/crumbly cheese is feta.
THANK YOU! I don't understand why folks were having such a hard time explaining it, this makes perfect sense. Whether I can actually find any in the States is up for debate, but at least us unable-to-understand Westerners have some idea of what you crazy Europeans are talking about :P

I was born in a poorer area of LA, where the air quality is shit and our closets were filled with black mold (also, where people in gangs were trying to kill each other in our back yard).  So, it's definitely a "we're not going to bother investigating that" situation, but I am pretty sure it makes sense.
At least you live near the coast now. Seems like the air there is usually pretty nice, if only because of that little body of water known as the Pacific Ocean.
Still, lung problems suck and I definitely feel for ya :/

Semi-rage: A while back I mentioned that a cable company I used to work for got involved in some sort of lawsuit that I got a cut of. I had hoped that the suit might have put them out of business. Nope: I still see their vehicles driving around and I still involuntarily hiss when one goes by. I can only hope that the ones that made life hell are gone  >:(

I would like to nominate Haspen for running so many crazy/awesome games. I would also like to nominate Blade Master Model 42, Descan, Powder Miner, Max White, and Dwarmin for various reasons.

There's others I would nominate, but it would be something like a good portion of the lower board regulars and I think most have been nominated already :P
Thanks for hosting this giveaway! Yer awesome

Carriage was attacked by bandits, and Elodie was shot by an arrow. For some reason, she figured that the best way to treat the wound was to push the arrow further in, piercing her vital organs. First death of many!

The whole family saw it while I was working. There are no movie theaters where I work, so I have not been able to check it out. You guys are all jerks  :-\
Not my fault you didn't drive somewhere better. :P
Can't drive anywhere better. Not in a truck, anyway.

I'd imagine that the fuss is because he didn't get permission.
This. Seriously people, even if no harm was done this guy violated pretty much every medical ethics code in existence. </slight hyperbole>

Besides, there's no knowing that there won't be negative effects down the line.

In honor of this LP, I promise that at least one mug in FE8MR will have that stupid blushy face look.

So apparently your blushing mug(s) are going to be included in FE8 romhack on SF.
