The builder I linked allows you to get beginner equipment. No artifacts or magical equipment, but everything else is fine.

I'm on my phone, but does it save on there? Because when I get CB fixed I can try and make them if they don't save as a file
You can save it as a PDF or text file if you wish. The website doesn't store any sheets.

Now, if you want sheets to be online and easy to access, try Mythweavers. I have an account there, and while they don't have character generators they do save sheets.

Luck! I found the D&D 4e builder I've used a couple of times.

Fair warning: it is a little* obtuse, but it works pretty well as long as you follow the steps and keep the handbooks nearby for reference (as the builder includes no information on things such as the effects of your powers or what sort of traits the different races have). Except Katida (I assume that's who you're referring to) wasn't sent to the prison for her protection. She was captured by the pirates and sent there because that was their base of operations. Then she was sold to Cadmus because of the whole human trafficking thing.
