Hmm, no it definitely wasn't Gaia Attack Four. I saw this game way back in the early 2000s, and (IIRC) the guns were fixed-mounted and looked more like machine guns than pistols. I'll try asking on those other forums you linked.

No worries. Just happy to have you back, Blade. ^^^

I know how much power outages can suck, so take your time :)

Okay, here's something that should be an interesting challenge:

It was an arcade game, with multiple players (I want to say four) all on one massive screen. It was a sort of light gun shooter except the guns were mounted on swivels to allow free aim in most directions. I seem to recall that it was sci-fi themed and everyone had to blast stuff because I think they all shared a health bar.

Oh, and I only saw this game once: at Disney World in Florida, back in 2002 I think it was.
Anyone? This has been bugging me for years and by this point I'm not 100% sure it wasn't just a figment of my imagination  :-\

Yeah, but it does cost them HP to do so. Not much, but its something to pay attention to.

So, while we wait for Haspen to respond so the story can continue, what should we get with the gold Mannan gave us? Obviously a Restore staff could come in handy, but assuming there's leftovers what else?

And here I was thinking the proposal and marriage would happen in the middle of the assault on Prixima's keep, with Mannan presenting the service while Gregor and Charlotte cut a bloody swath through the troops.
I was thinking of doing something like this (though the third Pirates of the Caribbean movie was in my head, not MGS4 :P ), but I decided to do it this way for two reasons:
One, everyone's going on about this being a suicide mission. Gregor's trying to have confidence, but in Tue back of his mind he's worried. And when you're going on a suicide mission, you don't wait until during the mission to ask the important questions as things could go wrong very quickly. You ask beforehand, so at least you don't have to wonder any more.
Second, more pragmatic/out-of-character/metagamy reason was that I doubted very much that Haspen would upgrade the support rank to S mid-battle :p

: "Of course I'm afraid. This promises to be the most difficult battle we've ever faced, and if the worst were to happen..."

He couldn't finish that thought. It was too horrible to contemplate.

: "Still, I refuse to dwell on that anymore. Now we have a whole future to plan for and I intend to start it off on a positive outlook!" With that, he embraced Charlotte and stood up in order to drape the necklace over her shoulders. Finally, he turned to face Mannan as well.

: "Which brings me to my final request. Lord Mannan, I would be honored if you would officiate at our wedding - whenever it actually is. You're kinda the only clergy we know that isn't making marriage plans of her own."

20603
: "Well, the last request depends on what happens next." He removed a small parcel from his pack, opening it to reveal the necklace he had bought back in Mannan's village weeks ago. He fell to one knee and presented it to Charlotte.

: "It's not a ring, and these weren't exactly the circumstances I had hoped to ask this, but...Charlotte Braxis, will you marry me?"

Good enough for me.

FYI, will be stupidly busy today from the sounds of it, so posting will be erratic. I'll respond to stuff when I get the chance!

Do handhelds count as consoles...?

Just checking Haspen, but Mannan is some sort of priest, right?

Oh, and sorry for signing up for ALL OF THE GAMES. It's not my fault that FEF is so fun :v

Gregor easily ignored Danya's glare and focused on Mannan.

: "I'm sure they'd be easy enough for a man of the cloth such as yourself. First, and I'm sure you're doing this already, but I want your word that you and this Magister Tiron will do everything in your power to ensure we can make it out once the witch lies dead. I don't care if it comes down to Captain Danya's pegasus riders carrying us out one by one - have a plan. Have several plans, even."

"Second: lately we've been running into a number of magic users who have the ability to put us to sleep, or turn us to stone, or turn us against one another. They nearly ruined our recent escape attempt, and I'm guessing Prixima will have more than a few sages with similar abilities running around. Therefore, the second request is for some sort of staff that can cure these afflictions, something that can Restore us to fighting fit if you will. Either that or enough funds to purchase such a thing."

General Discussion / Re: [ლ( ლ)] He comes (Happy thread)

Ah, nothing like falling asleep to the sound of rain pitter-pattering on the roof of my truck. Only thunder could make this better.

I'm passing on Fortune because Greglotte provides something like 20 extra Dodge as-is, which most enemies won't be able to crit through anyway. Might come in handy for Prixima, but she does so much damage by default I'm not sure how much it would help :P

I considered Guard, but that really seems to be Alexander's forte and his DEF is much higher. The only other people Gregor could guard are Chris (higher evasion) and Alexander himself (higher DEF). Gregor's Sentinel ability is like a mini-guard anyway.

Pass is no-no :v

20610
Gregor already has Daunt though, and I can't help but think that one AoE passive ability is enough :P

Besides, multiple instances of Charisma don't stack, so if Riven's nearby Gregor simply becomes redundant.
