Staffer A moves south, rescues Alex, both escape
Staffer B moves south, rescues Chris - haha, no he/she doesn't, the staff just left the map!
We're playing sokoban with a staff. Horrifying, deadly sokoban.

What if the second two staff users moved into the escape area and then rescued the greyed-out staff users, via Rescue staff or good old fashioned pick-up-and-carry? After all, they don't actually leave the map until their turn ends.

Besides, Anja doesn't have Guard and there's no way she has the AID to Rescue Alex. It is impossible via game mechanics

For instance, there's a laser gun in the game with infinite range. You can build a character so that you can literally snipe someone from multiple PLANETS away if you build it right.

Fine by me. Now that BMM42's game is getting some steam under it we've got plenty of FEF to go around at the moment 
Wait, FEF1 Epilogue... CHAPTERS?Also this. Yes, I would like to learn more.
