: "Yer a lucky man, preacher. I've been forced on my own twice now and each time was plenty awful. Thankfully the time I've spent with friends and family make up for it. Out on the ranch we're all one big family by blood and marriage, and we ain't the only buncha folk livin in the plains. There's almost always someone to turn to fer help."

I'm heading off to bed as well. Stupid sleep schedule makes me tired starting around 9pm instead of the midnight or later that I used to do >_<

ETA: Had enough in me for one last post after all :P

Right, but 666 is one of those numbers seen as "unlucky" in many places. I don't know if the ancient Romans saw it that way, but I intend to use it for NaNoWriMo and the fact that it looks really good and is easy to remember when translated to the numerals is icing on the cake.

According to one of my Lit teachers, back in the first century 666 was used refer to Emperor Nero, because of some quirk of Latin where you could convert his initials to letters and add them up or something.  This was a while ago, but this teacher speaks Latin so I'm sure it made sense to him.  Anyway, the Christian stories that started the whole number of the beast thing were apparently literally referring to Nero, because Christians hated him that much.
Neato.
No his name was NERO. That was terrible I'm sorry.
So terrible that I chuckled.

Add this phenomena to the earthquake we had here in Washington that split the Washington monument and damaged the National Cathedral.

>Did this happen during the shutdown ?  Triptolemus ?? Washington Monument split and the National

>Cathedral Damaged ???

>>The cathedral was damaged during the Great East Coast Earthquake of 2011

>>>No, Woodrow Wilson is buried at the Cathedral. That caused the whole east coast quake. Obama is definitely a fan. There are at least two presidential tombs shaking since the pox known as
>>>Obama has illegally occupied the White House. One is in Illinois the other at Mt. Vernon in Virginia.

You heard it here first, folks. The 2011 Earthquake was caused because of a liberal President buried in Washington since 1924. Despite the epicenter actually being 70 miles to the southwest....
You heard it here first folks, when you win two national elections in a row by incontestable margins, you're illegally occupying the White House.

At least Wilson was actually a socialist.
Doesn't matter if you won the elections if you were ineligible in the first place.
...is the way the logic goes.

Guys, I messed up when installing it (my computer force-restarted while it was finalizing the installation) and the game has a weird glitch. Every so often, a massive explosion almost kills both me and everything around me, and the enemies turn into ghosts that drain my mana. What should I do?
Reload your computer, in a dark room lit by 735 black candles.
The old bug is gone, but now my character is constantly covered in fire. It's actually a nice buff, though; it doesn't damage me, but it inflicts piercing fire-based rend damage on anyone in melee range.

That's what the last candle is for. You only actually need 734 to fix the bug.
Good thing you didn't light 736 candles. That wipes your entire hard drive.
And if I remember correctly, 737 played out the ASCII version of Star Wars on your computer.
Almost: it plays an 8-bit version of the main theme.

I feel awkward because I have nothing to contribute to the conversation right now other than butting in. So just pretend that Grifen is simply standing there trying to be supportive. :p
