Grifen cautiously examined the beverage before chugging it. She immediately began coughing as tears rolled down her face.

Grifen followed Sheila back into the inn a short time later, slightly hurt at being ditched so rapidly but determined not to show it.

: "Great! Climb aboard and we'll get going." She held the horse steady to make it easier on the other girl (despite the lack of saddle or stirrups) and, once Sheila was safely mounted, began leading the two in search of the blacksmith's.
