Impossibru if SC ever wants an S-ranked support. That basically is defined as getting married (though I'm sure there could be exceptions, like an older character adopting a younger orphan), and I'm not sure either Grifen or Sheila would enjoy playing second-fiddle, romantically speaking

@Sirus: Grifen is adurble. Sheila will likely make her a surrogate little sister. Possibly forcefully.

I wouldn't worry too much about your survivability. So long as you aren't actively causing detriments to the team, and you think about your actions before you take them, you'll likely be alright. Other players will be more than happy to get you back on your feet.

When Grifen becomes a Nomad Medic, I think she'll have a maximum move of 10 (if she attacks).
