In my experience, you shouldn't worry too much in advance about what to say. Let it all come out naturally, and answer any of the counselor's questions honestly. You need to be honest so the counselor knows the best way to proceed.

Man, I'd like to see the Iron Giant (in full combat mode, of course) go up against a couple of PR kaijuu. Assuming, at least, the IG had no compunctions about killing giant monsters.
I'm guessing that with his 'go away' hand cannon and whatever that thing in his chest was, he snipes them from long range.
Assuming he has a chance to snipe. Dem kaijuu seem to love sneak attacks and are surprisingly good at them.
True, though he survived a nuke to the face, which they notably didn't.
Good point. However, a new weakness reveals itself: the Giant falls apart quite easily compared to Jaegers or kaijuu. While he seems nearly invulnerable to bullets, a simple impact from a train was enough to break him into a dozen parts. Imagine what Knifehead could do - bear in mind, this kaijuu ripped Gipsy Danger a new one and Gipsy later survived a fall from the upper atmosphere mostly unscathed. Unless IG's combat form is much tougher, anyway.

Dammit, it's not supposed to be reasonable, it's supposed to be cool.
I reject your reality and substitute my own.
I have a t-shirt with that exact slogan on it.

Personally, I was always more into the "giant monster" half of the equation. I actually liked Cloverfield :P
Not saying anything bad against giant robots, of course!

This. Giant robots are not my thing, because I get to thinking, "But then you have to scale the width of the legs up three times as much as you do the height, so at like sixty feet, you've got a fucking pyramid, besides, there are much better shapes for a big kill-y mech..."
I never actually put that much thought into the physics involved. I just grew up watching Godzilla movies and never quite grew out of it :P

From what I heard, Unobtanium has been used for years in engineering circles as a stand-in for "a material that has the properties we need but does not currently exist or is impossible according to our knowledge".

Yeah, but the thing is that the universe runs on narrativium.  Why do you really need two pilots?  Narrativium.  Why the glowing reactor in the chest?  Narrativium.  Why that black umbrella held in that particular way?  Blah blah blah blah blah forever.
The "two pilots" thing seemed more like a safety precaution than anything else. The male lead managed to pilot Gipsy Danger by himself long enough to kill a kaijuu, Crimson Typhoon had three pilots, and I think the commander once piloted by himself in his flashback.

@ Graknorke
It got mixed reception. Some liked it, others hated it. The "jitter cam" especially turned off a lot of viewers.

I saw it in an IMAX theater. Still wasn't big enough.
