Looking at the game's files, it should be theoretically possible to kill the item shop for good. However, the amount of power to do so would render entire dimensions uninhabitable (useful ones, too), require nanosecond timing, and would likely result in the permadeath of half the playerbase. In short, probably not worth it, especially since the vast majority of the items the shop sells can be found in-game.

Sounds fun. Wish I could join in, but real life calls.

In honor of this achievement, I declare Vector the goddess of math and hedgehogs. Use your newfound power wisely, and congratulations!

And lose out on the wonderful feel of paper in my hands? :P

I do have a laptop. It's in said backpack. The problem is storage: there isn't room for my backpack anywhere other than the foot of my bunk. I have only a single small shelf where I store things like my wallet, phone charger, stuff like that. Where the heck am I gonna keep a bunch of books?

Well, I guess I'll hold off for now. Eventually I'll have some space of my own and then maybe I can get the books.

Books can be read anywhere, true, but I'm more concerned about the amount of space a bunch of books will take up at the moment. As of now, I have nowhere to keep who-knows-how-many books, while the DVD case can easily fit in my backpack.

Quick Bay 12, convince me to start watching Game of Thrones. First season is on sale and I've heard a lot about it.

Stopped working 2am this morning. It is now 6am and right back to work. Ugh.

I'm winning at video games so good right now.
Man, I'm sucking at them.

Yeah, driving in general doesn't scare me anymore. Which isn't to say I drive like crazy or endanger other people! It's a little like handling a gun, I guess: can potentially be deadly, but if you are safe, respectful, and responsible the risks are greatly diminished.

23051
Driving gets easier and less terrifying the more you do it. Keep at it!

Had a nasty waking nightmare early this morning. See, I was sleeping in my bunk while my trainer drove along a highway. At one point, I sorta woke up. It was nearly pitch-dark, the cabin was shaking and swaying a little, and for a horrifying moment I thought I had fallen asleep at the wheel. I sat up and began reaching desperately for the steering wheel, trying to find the brake pedal with my feet, clawing for the headlight switch because the darkness made me think that they had somehow gone out. Even once I woke up enough to realize that I wasn't actually in the driver's seat, the feelings persisted until I found the bunk's light switch and turned it on. Sleep didn't come easy after that.

Except Haspen doesn't track that stuff. Just things like siege times and possibly other low-QL items :P

Yeah, iodine still sees plenty of use in hospitals. Seems to be the disinfectant of choice for things like drawing blood.
