Personally, its the latter. The games themselves (some of them, anyway) are good, its just that they're things that people already have or don't want due to personal preference.

How about some sort of "saturation" slider in the graphics options? Those who want pop can have it, those who life the sort of faded look can have it, and everyone in the middle gets what they want. Everyone wins!

Also this scene gave me chills for some reason. Maybe it's the scream, or Wheatley's sudden turn that does it. Maybe it's that Stephen Merchant does an excellent job of making his character super creepy. Maybe it's all of those things.

I was under the impression that an "upshot" was basically saying "as a result". Maybe not. It was nearly 11 at night and I wasn't thinking super clearly.
