Holy crap. I can't believe that worked :o

Not modded. It's late-game armor, and I don't know how far you've gotten so I won't spoil the name or anything. The helmet comes from that soldier customization pack that got bundled with XCOM: EU's pre-order, and has nothing to do with the armor.

SCOPEs are nice. I like SCOPEs.

Suppression comes in handy because if the enemy doesn't move, they have massively reduced Aim (which can render them nearly ineffective). If they try to move, the heavy gets a free shot. However, it really becomes awesome with later perks that A: Makes it an Area of Effect ability, and B: Does guaranteed damage to affected enemies. It does take a lot of ammo however, and only really becomes viable after a certain forge project.

Can't wait to see the bomb mission!

@ Edwin & Valor

: "Alright, that's ENOUGH! Both of you!"

Gregor crossed his arms and glared at the two.

: "We'll sort this out later. Right now, it looks like we're going to have to fight our way through after all. It's not what I wanted, but this means I'll need everyone concentrating on survival rather than wanting to hit each other. Anyone who feels they can't do that is welcome to wait by the wagon until we're done here."

The reason I said Ami is because she's the best healer on the team and would be most capable of treating the snipers Edwin poisoned. Plus because she's the best shot of recruiting Derick but that's just metagaming on my part :P

But yeah, I know that's not likely to happen. Sucks, but the team's just gonna have to massacre their way through yet another group of people who probably would have meant them no harm under other circumstances :/

Spoiler: About diplomacy (click to show/hide)
Well...yes. But come on, its IC for at least some of us to try :P

I'm thinking Gregor volunteers to go up alone, or with just Ami as a gesture of goodwill. That way diplomacy can be tried and the two recruitables can see who they're dealing with!

23376
If anyone genuinely wants to try diplomacy, I think there's one more thing we can try. If that doesn't work however, it'll just be the standard FE way of dealing with problems.

23377
Wait, then why is Tenebra flying in her avatar?

I just assumed she glued wings onto him.
Because we thought she had promoted with one item, I posted the promoted sprite, and then SOMEONE pointed out that she actually needed a different item that we didn't have. So yeah.

23378
I blame Edwin for everything.

EVERYTHING :P

23379
Gregor moved forward and shouted at the people on the cliffs, unaware that Edwin was fast wrecking any chance of diplomacy.

"Please hear us out! We don't have to fight this day! Let us speak to your leader; if this is all a misunderstanding, we can just leave you to your business!"

Gregor moves to (9,12)

Blowing myself up in a glorious explosion of Bro, several red barrels, and five terrorists. God damn this game is awesome.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
the fuck do you people find these games
First I heard about it was from Jesse Cox. Haven't actually played it yet though.

Does it at least run better than some of the other Paradox titles? I've tried to play EUIII on a few different computers of various capability and it runs terribly on all but the best one.

23382
HahahahaHAHAHHAHAHAHAYES! Finally, a computer that doesn't lag when running so much as an instance of GIMP or Inkscape! Thank you, gainful employment. THANK YOU.
I hope to feel that feel some day.

Aaaaaaanyway, is the DLC for CK2 really all that important? Especially for someone who's never played this before.

We did it.  We found the ARCH.  It was majestic.  From orbit it looked so tiny.  Vacuum does weird things to your depth perception, up close we found it was enormous.

Because of the Mun's unnaturally perfect orbit, once every Munar year the sun is totally eclipsed by Kerbin, directly above the ARCH.  The History Channel tells me this is clear proof that the ARCH, and possibly the Mun itself, was made by aliens.

We arrived just in time to see the eclipse.  It was too beautiful, didn't spoil it with pictures.
You're absolutely right. The Arch, the Mun, and the entire Kerbol system were created by an advanced form of life known as "humans".
