Trust me, I felt the same way at first. But honestly, PR is the thing I'm most excited about, while WWZ is more of a bonus to see if I have time. Still beats whatever other crap is coming out around this time >_>

Cuz I like zombies, really. I know it's not gonna be anything like the book, so I'll just go into it expecting to see thousands of undead doing undead-related things. Not every movie has to be a gem, and just because I'm excited about Pacific Rim doesn't mean I can't be excited about something else :P

With Pacific Rim and World War Z, there's two movies I really want to see this year. When compared to some years when I don't want to see any, that's pretty good.

Features:
Grown men playing with action figures.
Hype.
Nerds.
Salt.
del Toro and WETA Workshop.
Hype.
Discussion of the influence of kaijuu and mecha in modern entertainment, and the possible future of the two.
Hype.
Theres also this, which is terrible but also silly and involves a bunch of TGS members in jaegers.
Anything that involves Jesse and TB is alright with me.

Duke Nukem Forever: 10+ years often with no news at all
Starbound: About two years with regular updates

Oh yeah, totally the same thing.  ::)

I am very tempted to pick up RPG Maker VX, down from £49.99 to £16.99....

Though I'm not sure I have the patience to make my own games with it, and I think it'd likely ruin the play through if I know all possible outcomes!

Holy..!

That was pretty much my reaction - all of the add-on packs are down by 66% too!
Yeah, I see that. Shame there's no way I can afford all of them. Even on sale some of those add-ons are $10 :/

"Never considered going back under someone's banner?"
THAT OLISON IS A SPAH

Gordon doesn't flyte or sing. He preaches. As in thunderous, roaring sermons damning his foes to the blackest of hells, exulting his allies to ever-greater feats as he patches their wounds in the midst of battle. You aren't dealing with some meek chaplain hiding under his pulpit here, or a healer who would prefer to be safe back at camp. Though he might not fight, he is a warrior and everyone will know it.

...I'm probably massively overselling my writing capabilities, but that's the effect I will shoot for :P

And Stardrive as well?! Goddammit Steam, how much money will you take from me?

...I'd kinda like a standalone single-player version released sooner, even if it did have ALPHA plastered all over it. As long as it works, I can live without multiplayer for a few months.

23532
Yeah, that's true (again). I guess if someone were really, really dedicated to acting out hate in-character (or was simply trolling) it could be disruptive, but I don't like doing that sort of thing.

So don't worry overmuch. Gordon won't exactly like Nathara at first (or Adelaide for that matter, but for entirely different reasons), but that doesn't mean he'll go all Warhammer purge-the-heretics on ya :P

Thanks, I needed the chuckles :P

23534
Yeah, they can so long as they don't reduce the fun of the game through constant bickering or refusing to work together :P

Gotta find that happy medium :v

The game is utterly merciless and you will scream in rage while cursing every RNG in existence and sobbing bitter, bitter tears.

Get it. It's fun and silly and the rules are such that even veterans can be surprised by it sometimes.
