Don't use a netti pot though... You don't want to catch a case of the brain eating amoeba.
Pretty sure that's not a problem if you use purified water.

Gregor checked the position of the sun, trying to determine what time it was.

: "Well, I'm done with my shopping, until tomorrow at least. Riven, you want us to wait for you while you check the store out or will you be fine?"

23598
I will, of course, try to get back in time for the cookout (assuming I actually go anywhere and don't just spend the next few hours sitting at the terminal). Wouldn't want to miss it :P

Guys, quick opinion, would XCOM:Enemy Unknown be worth it for $10 as opposed to $40. Silly question, obviously it's better cheaper, but the question is is it good?

Yes of course, I spent 50 on it, and didn't feel too cheated.
This. I had fun with it, and it's the only XCOM I've beaten so far :P

Gregor's done shopping, so if I disappear suddenly and stay gone for a while feel free to ignore him; he'll go wherever the group goes and stay quiet :P

The reason I say this is because I might be getting on the road in a little while, and if that happens I probably won't be able to RP or post at all.

Does anyone know how to give a cat a pill, crushed or otherwise? It has turned out to be a very, very difficult endeavor.
Wrap it up in a bite-sized piece of meat. Works most of the time.

Just a friendly reminder (since I'm not sure it's been mentioned yet), but Just Cause 2 is 80% off right now, selling for the low, low price of $3.00.

Seriously, guys. If you're one of the 7 people on the planet that haven't played JC2 yet, buy it. It's three freaking dollars for a game that will entertain you for 50+ hours, easily. Blow up military installations! Tie infantrymen to passing jets! Base jump off blimps! Hijack cars in the middle of high-speed chases! It's an experience everyone ought to have at least once. $3.00, people.
By the time I get a machine that can run it, it will likely be cheaper. So I'll pass :P

It runs smoothly with a Pentium 4 processor and five-year-old graphics card. I kid you not, they did a brilliant job optimizing it and you really shouldn't let technical difficulties keep you from investing three dollars on this bad boy.
Trust me, if its more advanced than say, Magicka, I can't run it. I'm talking about a laptop that has a hard time with Half-Life 2, for crying out loud.

@ Riven

: "Heh. No, nothing like that."

: "It's actually a surprise present for someone...I'd, uh, appreciate it if you didn't mention I was here."

Gregor waved at Chris as he passed to indicate that he would sit tight, then turned back to Riven.

: "You'd have to ask him. He might want it to be a surprise as well."

That would be nice, but somehow I doubt it :P
I can see Ami's ring giving some stat boosts though, for 1k gold.

@ Riven

Gregor looked at the dark magic woman, surprised by her sudden appearance.
: "I guess you could say that. It won't be ready until tomorrow, but the castle isn't far from here so its not so bad. You looking for something as well?"

23607
Gregor's trinket is half the price of Chris'. If he's doing a jig over mine, he must be goddamn waltzing about that ring :P

Besides, I'd share if anyone bothered to ask for gold.

23608
: "Thank you, sir! I'll be back tomorrow!"

Gregor walked out of the shop, feeling happier than he had in days, and decided to rejoin the group. But first he would wait for Chris; it seemed like the polite thing to do.

23609
Gregor checked Google image search considered his options, and found a triangular amethyst that reminded him of an arrowhead. Perfect.

: "This one, please. Should I pay now, or when I come pick it up?"

23610
: "Oh. I see."

: "In that case, would it be possible to maybe hang a gem from a hole drilled in it? Sort of like this?" Gregor snatched up a nearby quill and drew a quick sketch of what he was picturing in his head. "That way you wouldn't need to worry about embedding it or whatever."
