I fell to the ground and was taken to the hospital where I pronounced dead from drive-by laughing.I was about to say "what game?!", but then I remembered what thread this was.

I think they split it into multiple operations. The otherwise-terrible Blood Ravens novel series takes that viewpoint. Of course, the unlucky bastard is left strapped to the operating table in between operations and they don't exactly bother with proper sterilization...

Aside from building up enough emotional fortitude to get through another route, its a great game/visual novel.Finished my first playthrough of Katawa Shoujo, good ending with Emi. ...I think I almost cried. And that's not something that happens to me. I'm not sure if I can take playing through the other girls' storylines. I also went back and did the bad ending, which wasn't as painful as I thought it'd be because it was over pretty quick.
Oh man, if you can you totally should. They're so, so good.
If I had any spare time, I'd actually probably do another KS runthrough, because I miss it so much...
* Sirus still needs to do Rin's story some day
