I think YouTube is drunk again. Every video I try to watch gives me an error message.

I was thinking about Michael Phelps.  Carry on.
Darn. I had a secret bet with myself that you were actually thinking about Fred Rogers.

* Sirus is tempted to post a semi-relevant gif

Anyway, that's rough dude. Swimming is a useful skill to have, but I understand a lot of people have difficulty with it.

So I'm apparently enrolled in a D&D game that starts in a couple of weeks... After some discussion I'm apparently going to be a cleric, now to figure out what kind. Anyone got any ideas for a good cleric optimisation?
Optimization-schmoptimization. Go nuts, have fun, and do what you feel like doing. That's my One Sacred Rule for games like D&D.

The guy who protests children's funerals, saying that they deserved to die because gay people exist? Plenty of things.

inb4 smashing the orb actually kills us all.

I don't know why it would. That'd be Tomb of Horrors level screwery. Haspen isn't dicky, he's just cruel. He would rather us strive and fail than drop a meteor on us and laugh.
I'm not saying Haspen would tell us its safe only to kill us anyway. I'm saying that it wouldn't surprise me if Riven examined it and discovered it was filled with deadly poison or something. In that case, if we had simply smashed it instead of examining it, it'd be our fault.

Is he gonna yell the secret through solid rock? :p

Besides, I'm hoping Riven can think of something. Somehow she's the only dedicated magic-user in the room.

Same here :P

Gregor didn't even flinch.

: "The man was Dragon-damn INSANE! There's no telling what he might have decided to put in his pockets in the middle of a deranged rant! Now, I don't want to lose anyone else today, so until we know what the hell this orb is or run out of options we don't. Fucking. Smash it!"

23891
: "We have no idea what the other orb did, if anything at all. For all we know, this one is some sort of concentrated fire spell and will roast whoever breaks it!"

23892
: "Oh! No time to study - I found a glass orb on Bores. Riven, quickly, do you recognize any enchantments on this?"

Show to Riven.

"Stop wasting time and smash it!"
: "Dont be an idiot! Blindly smashing a random magic orb could kill us all!"

FINALLY arrived at the hotel. Now I just need to be up in 4 and a half hours. For an unknown-but-probably-lengthy amount of time ._.
