Major happy news today:

My pre-hire has been confirmed. Assuming I get my CDL (likely), graduate school (near-certainty), and keep my nose clean (ditto), I will have a job in a week or two.

I'm thinking the PCs get as close to the water as they can while still letting Alexander guard them. The NPCs will cross next turn, and the river will slow down the enemies as well.

Welp, what we do next turn is almost entirely determined by what the allies can do. If the wagon can enter the ford squares thanks to Anja leading them, great. We can attempt a fighting retreat and maybe beat the map that way. If not, we'll have to make a stand somewhere and try to survive.

Haspen's made it pretty clear that Charlotte and Gregor are pretty much the main characters.
On Gregor's part, blame the fact that I had way too much free time to devote to this game <_<;
Honestly, I had him pegged as more of an Oscar to Sterling's Ike; the steadfast levelheaded bro that mostly hangs out in the background until he was needed. Then stuff happened :P

ETA: Dammit Powder, if you honestly don't want to kill Meneleans shouldn't you move back at least a little? Go one square north of Charlotte, then Gregor will follow up and stay alongside Alexander. We'll still all be covered.
