Thankfully, no. My family managed to get an "original copy" from the hospital/county (unsure of the specifics) and are mailing it over. But it does mean I'm essentially a day behind on an already-short course.

Due to problems with my birth certificate (ie, it was a copy and not an "original"), I could not take my permit test today. I scored above 95% on all of the practice tests too :(

And yeah, it does suck. Especially when you try to format the colored text, or bolded and italicized phrases.

It gets even worse with all three at once, damn phones

But I'm with you 100% on all that about formatting. So much more convenient to point and click.
