Well, just said "goodbye" to my parents. I won't be seeing them for a few weeks until after training is done. I won't even see them tomorrow. I feel homesick already and I'm not even gone  :-\

Spriting scouters is pretty easy. Take the color of the skin/eye, add some green or pink or blue or whatever, and fill in the effected areas. Then grab a new color and repeat. That's what I did for Vegeta von Hexham.


@ All: Thanks for the well-wishes. Pretty nervous, since I'm going from a relatively sedentary existence to about 75mph in less than a week. Still, excited.

Okay, I suppose this is a good time to put out notice:

I will posting less frequently for a while. I have a road trip across the country starting tomorrow, and then I'll be in a place where I'm unsure of the Internet situation for a few weeks after that. I should have phone coverage, so I can post from that, but that means probably no mugshots or sprites unless the location I'm staying at has wifi.

Note that I'm NOT dropping out. While I'm sure I will be busy, I will endeavor to get at least one order in per day. If circumstances force me to miss out on a turn, someone else can control Gregor until I get back.

So uh. Wish me luck. I'm planning to leave tomorrow afternoon my time.

Since the topic has come up a couple of times, I'm specifically looking for a way to keep my laptop connected. Whether that's through using my phone as a hotspot or getting some sort of USB receiver, is the big question.

I know Ami's down, but can anyone spare a vulnerary for Gregor? He's gonna charge in with dat Killer Lance to try and take out the archer near the shaman, and I would prefer it if he had more than 8HP to do it with. :P

Spent the day packing and preparing. If all goes well, I could leave tomorrow afternoon and get a few hour's head start on the trip. Everyone's been really supportive so far and I'm liking the sound of this deal more and more. I've got a plan, I've got contingencies, and I stand to make a good deal of money if I just keep my chin up and don't wimp out partway through.

It's a Verizon HTC, running Android. Afraid I'm not sure how to be more specific, but it looks like it might require more money after all. Beats getting a whole second device and service plan, I'm sure.
