"One day... I'll be strong enough to stop a batallion of cavaliers. I'll be able to live a life of peace, secure in the knowledge that I can stop any bandit foolish enough to think my home is easy pickings. I'll never go hungry another night, once that day comes..." Valor closed his eyes, sighing. "All I have to do is fight my way to that future."

Gregor overheard this, and privately agreed. He wasn't like his father; he didn't want to be a soldier his entire life. Settling down somewhere peaceful sounded alright to him.

But for now...he was fairly certain that someone in the next room was trying to steal stuff.

It's not so much that they don't do well, it's just that they have a whole host of weaknesses and only one good strength (high DEF). By the time late game rolls around, I have an army of people who hit hard, hit fast, dodge a lot, and don't take much damage anyway. Why include a guy who can barely even keep up with them?

But as BMM42 said, they look amazing and fill a vital role early on. They just suffer badly from over-specialization.

*Thinks about Seyena singing "Look at my horse to Valor". *

I've only ever heard part of it, but I don't know why someone would suggest licking a horse, or why it would taste just like raisins.
Because it's an Amazing Horse, that's why. It can also turn into a plane, make lemonade, and take you 'round the universe. And all the other places too!

Telling people to "shut the fuck up" is not attempting to re-rail a conversation. It's just being rude.

25415
Hey, it's not my fault you guys moved away from the fortified position instead of into it like sensible people :P

But those are all good points.

* Gregor sucker-punches Valor to break him out of his terror

But cursing at people and telling them to shut up just makes it more likely that the thread gets locked again. And this time, it probably wouldn't be allowed to come back.

Two minutes later, thread lock.

I CAN SEE THE FUTURE.

* Sirus remembers the cavalier army with a sort of nostalgia

It was basically CharGreg's first Moment of Awesome :3

Hey Tuck, you're starting to sound kinda like an ass. Yeah, at least one person here probably just wants the thread to fail for whatever reason, but there's no reason to be so waspish.
I don't do things without reasons, silly~

I'm trying to draw attention to this guy

Voted not that hard. It's really not that hard, it's just that we're scatterbrained and squishy and forget to count movement squares.

You weren't part of Chapter 2. You have no idea what you're talking about.

Kids these days.
Hell, I remember the prologue. So many axes everywhere and archers with DEF higher than our front-line fighters :|

Can Riven try to move closer to Gregor instead of sitting back? He's gonna need the bonus Hit to try and injure that thief :P

Who voted the fourth option.

Whoooooo-
Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.
It might be someone who repeatedly comes here to troll.

Who could that be, I wonder?

25423
Voted for the second option. The very fact that we've made it this far without any deaths (Adrien notwithstanding) shows that this isn't yet at "fire and brimstone" levels. That's good in my eyes; challenges are good, but too much and the game stops being fun and we lose more players to frustration and character death.
