General Discussion / Re: Dwarf Fortress Furries
« on: May 12, 2013, 10:56:48 pm »
Watching this thread. Not a furry myself, but in a lot of web communities I've been a part of (however short-term) I've noticed that they tend to be looked down upon, if not outright threatened with physical violence. I want to see how Bay 12 reacts to the subject.

I'm really hoping they add commissar caps, even if it's just cosmetic. I want a pistol in one hand and a sword in the other, dammit.

I think that's 21/2 avatars I've provided for this thread. I'm so happy :')

I really need to play that series at some point. Picked it up cheap during a sale, promptly forgot about it...

Glad you like it! I wasn't quite sure what you meant exactly by "yellowish-orange" so I started with fairly bright orange (mostly for the highlights) and worked my way darker. The spear was mostly untouched though; just changed the color of the ribbon connecting the head and shaft to better match the wyvern's eyes :P

We need fanart of Seyena trying to pull Alexander up by her hair.

I'm pretty sure there was no time travel involved.
* MetalSlimeHunt coughs.
I meant in this specific instance.

Nope. No in-laws or step-relatives. No wife or children. I'm pretty sure there was no time travel involved. It was meant to be a mildly humorous story about a wrong number. That's it.

If I ever became lactose-intolerant and couldn't control it with medication, I might have to kill myself. Seriously. I have tasted a wide variety of cheeses, and there are hundreds if not thousands more out there to sample. I can't imagine a dairy-free existence.

I assume she does. Why else would you send out a text wishing your daughter-in-law a happy mother's day?

But again: number I don't recognize. I have no idea for sure.

@ Max White: I don't have in-laws! I'm not married, and neither are my siblings! Argh!!!

I just got a text message wishing me a happy mother's day from my mother-in-law.

  • I don't have kids.
  • I'm not married.
  • I'm a guy.
Do you think perhaps it was a passive aggressive gesture over the fact that you had yet to show her any merriment over the annual XX-ancestry festival?
It said, and I quote: "Happy Mother's Day my daughter-in-law". And it's from a number I don't recognize.
So I guess it could actually be from "my" father-in-law, but the three previous problems still stand.
