You forgot:

Florida: where every theme park is located and the temperature never drops below the boiling point.
New York: the only place where immigrants can enter the country. Also where every monument ever is.

I'm about 90% sure California is just a fictional place made up so that you could make movies about it. No real place could operate like that for more than a week without massive food shortages from everybody getting the munchies and nobody having the expertise to work.
I know you're just joking around, but that hurts my Californian feelings :(

@ Aqizzar: What does a Californian accent sound like? I'm genuinely curious, because I sure as hell don't notice it :P

Like, dude, really?  Nobody, like, remembers that shit anymore?  You're bummin' me out dude.

No joke, I've met people who talk like that.
That's a beach-bum accent, broseph. Not every Californian speaks like that :P
Okay, so I sometimes pepper my speech with those terms. It's not really an accent though.

The US of A has...damn, I don't even know how many accents. Lots of them.

Classic Thinmen have a base accuracy of 80%. I consider this valid evidence for the non-existence of any benevolent god.
Don't forget how their poison spit cloud is perfectly accurate to ridiculous ranges. I've lost at least one VIP to that bastard of an attack.
From what I've seen, the poison can be preferable to them shooting at you, as it is only damage over time and can be fixed with a medkit, whereas the plasma is... less so.
It was like this:
*TM1 spit*
VIP: Agh, I've been poisoned!
Me: Quick, heal him!
*squad's only medic uses medkit*
*TM2 spit*
VIP: Agh, I've been poisoned!
Me: *flailing and cursing*

That's "Classic" in the new game, though again this is from my point of view. You will lose 1 or 2 soldiers every battle until you build up a decent squad of survivors. And then you will lose the entire squad. And then you'll lose the not-as-good soldiers that were meant to be single-mission replacements. And then you'll lose your rookies. It's a downward spiral :P

Can't be true. Nobody on earth is as boring as Jim Groovester.  :P
Oh, I dunno. The most interesting thing that's happened to me in the past couple of weeks was...actually, I can't think of anything >_>
Welcome to the club! We have room temperature water and moderately fresh biscuits.
Sounds good to me :P

Normal tends to be a cakewalk. Classic (at least to me) ramps up the difficulty considerably, and you will CURSE Thin Men.

This game is still in Alpha 0.7.3.
It's helpful to report any bug or suggestion in offical forum.  :D
Just checked the forum. The exact glitch has been posted, and a dev has said that it will be fixed in the next patch.

So...awesome. My work here is done :D

OH NO!

Xantalos' avatar has vanished! D:
It has?
Maybe it's just me.

Does that make me the Chosen One?
