I don't normally use heart emotes, but...

Fresh brownies <3

Oh, so that's what that thing means.
I used to think that thing was supposed to be a really tiny dick. It made conversations that much weirder.
In retrospect that makes a lot of posts look a whole lot creepier.
And now I will never use that emote again. Thanks a lot, you perverts :I

I was on earlier, but the entire system had crashed for at least an hour. Didn't bother trying again after that :p

Carter wields a special ability called Battle Focus which slightly slows down the action and lets him issue commands.
Geez, I can already hear the screeching and scoffing.

However, I noticed a couple of nifty things in the trailer. At one point in a hallway, the camera pans by a door marked "Elerium Lab". A report on a typewriter also mentions "Sectoids". Plenty of looks at classic disk-shaped UFOs as well. So I'm still tentatively hoping that this works out.

You could get the same effect by killing someone painlessly and then draining the blood. Instead, you have berserkers with chainsaw axes ripping people to shreds. Clearly, pain in and of itself isn't the problem.
Draining doesn't do it quick enough. Though if any Khornate followers managed to acquire one of those War of the Worlds tripods they'd do that happily.
But the human body can be drained of blood in 8.6 seconds, given adequate vacuuming systems! That's pretty fast, and you could probably chuck a whole bunch of corpses into said vacuum room at once.

Suffering's a natural part of killing, though, and considering how many of his acolytes and daemons use really jagged weapons I don't think he hates it. He just doesn't want you to be sadistic about causing pain.
Double effect. Jagged causes bigger wounds which make more blood flow.

...But what if [PERSON] wants to have sex with you? No arresting or punching!

In all seriousness, being able to control yourself is generally seen as a good thing.

Short of a really bizarre build, squishy wizards will always be squishy wizards. That's just how the universe works.

Lots of trainee characters are one-shottable by prologue bandits. That's why they have to work together, exercising their strategic skills and developing bonds as they figure which units work well together. I wouldn't stress too much about it :P

F F F FURTHER EDIT: I wonder when Culise and IO will come in.
My guess is soon, possibly during this chapter. They've both been active here, so it's not like Haspen can kick them off the waitlist for inactivity.

Now if only Emral would come around more often...*grumble grumble*

A 13 DEF meatshield...with an Evasiveness of 10. That means you're even more vulnerable to mages than a lot of other people because you can't dodge very well :P

Though yes, normal weapons will have a hard time doing much damage to you. Especially swords.

I spent my entire life feeling normal until I was about to turn 19 and then someone told me I had a weird brain and now I'm miserable.

The end.
Weird how? I don't think anyone on this ball of rock has a "normal" brain.

And by the time I hit General. I'll have niiiiiice supports for me to Guard.
Yeah. Guard is my ability.
I will activate it every turn I can :|
Like I said before, don't base your strategy around supports that you don't have yet. Hell, look at all the things Gregor and Charlotte have been though, and they're still at C rank :P

Gotta work for them juicy support bonuses!

I used to be perfectly normal.  No interest in dating, no physical interests in general.

While I understand what you're saying, I can't help but be amused by your use of the word normal here :P
Kinda this.

Oddly enough, I'm having the opposite "problem"; as the years go by, I'm having less interest in dating and whatever than I did in my highschool days. I'd probably still jump at the chance, but as the years go by I'm just not as worried about that stuff as I used to be. I wouldn't call myself asexual, like some board members, its more like accepting that I'm just not the romantic type.

A perfect knight, in other words :D
Just wait until he hits General or Great Knight. Hoo boy, that'll be fun.
