Except the Imperium had no idea that the Tau could become a later threat. A survey ship found them hiding in caves, marked them on a star map, and a colony fleet set out to take the world for their own. Were it not for the warp storm rendering Tau space inaccessible for 6000 years, they would have been wiped out before they could ever seriously threaten a single Guardsman. Just imagine how many other primitive species were not so lucky.

Hell, when the Tau first began showing off their technological might all those thousands of years later, no one even thought that they might be the same bunch of cave people until much later.

Also, the Eldar are theorized to have engineered the Tau to be a weapon against the Imperium. Or something.
Is there any canon supporting that? I always thought it was just a fan theory.

Besides, the Eldar and Tau fight as well. If I were the Eldar, I'd want to make sure that my newest plaything couldn't turn against me. If the Eldar can see that butchering a million humans now would save the lives of ten Eldar in 200 years (and they'd do it, too), shouldn't they realize that the Tau would not be particularly fond of their "creators" 6000 years down the line?

Hmm, I'd say go for it. Just don't expect anything amazing :P

Or maybe I'm wrong and it is amazing, but I just never got far enough.

It's...decent-ish. I haven't played very much, but it seems like a weird cross between Settlers and Age of Empires. You build up a settlement by exploiting resources, and then command RTS armies with your demigod upgradable unit.

How much is the sale?

That's what I'm saying: S. Korea might decide to mount some clandestine rescue attempt, or ask another nation to do the same. Whether that would work out for the best is more than I can predict.

I think there were 3 files, actually: select.def, system.def, and maybe fight.def. I know it was more than just select, because that just determines what characters you have, what stages you have, and the number of matches in arcade.

27217
Yeah, but how likely is that to happen?

NO SUCH THING EXISTS
OR IT IS STILL NOT CUTE
But.
It plays bongo drums!
With it's face!
That makes it worse.
Also, the bongos make it more flammable.
But how could you torch this adorable thing?

Okay, that's pretty low. Not letting them leave, not letting them get food. Aren't they just begging for a rescue attempt?

I don't remember where I got it from, sadly. It's not really a screenpack, it's just a couple of edited text files to change the size of the portraits, the size of the character icons, and the number of icons.

Try searching for "unlimited mugen". Best I can come up with, since I've had this setup for quite some time.

Frankly? Yeah, I can blame them. The Imperium can learn a lot from the various species they meet, even if it's only new weapons technology. Instead, they bomb them to oblivion. Remember that they would have wiped out the Tau (a bunch of spear-wielding primitives who barely mastered fire) if not for that freak warp storm. No real reason to do so, they were just in the way.

they are the only faction that doesn't act like complete assholes just for the sake of acting like complete assholes.

The Imperium is just trying to survive, yet....

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

The Tau will at least offer alien races the option of peaceful integration. The Imperium will simply bomb you from orbit if they don't decide to take over and turn your species into fourth-rate menial labor.

Besides, haven't you heard the stories of using waves of infantry to clear minefields or force the enemy to waste ammo? The Imperium is filled with assholes as well, they're just the assholes with the most screen time.

Technically it's a singleplayer experience but I know more than a couple of couples who have enjoyed playing thru Telltales' The Walking Dead. It is infinitely better than the sorry excuse for an adapted tv series of the brilliant comic book. I guess it really depends on if you want your girlfriend to see you cry or not  :P
Because let's be honest: you WILL cry. Like the metaphorical bitch :P
