Dude might have a smartphone. Smartphones can access Twitter and download maps. Put 2 and 2 together, and you get...Piecing together what I heard, one of the brothers was gunned down while the other drove away. And now that everyone is posting information about police movements all over the internet, he has an extra resource to help evade capture.
I'm pretty sure this basically isn't playing a role. How exactly would it help him? How would he even be able to follow or process it, and use it in a useful manner?
What's more likely, in my opinion, is that he had a pre-planned hidey hole and managed to get to it. And even that isn't THAT likely.
