Yeah, but I still like the look of my bubble ship better. Even if it was weaker than Voyager :P

This one might be an accident. It is a fertilizer plant, after all.
Ninja'd.

How can something, "objectively" look better?  :P
...
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
THAT IS HOW!

the one on the left is cobbled together from a trailer, the one on the right is cobbled together from at-leisure gameplay
Actually, the one on the right is probably taken straight out of the game's data.

Alexander is also a soldier of Prixima, at least that's what I attempted to communicate in his bio.
Speaking of, I was wondering if perhaps we could show that Gregor and Alexander knew each other beforehand. Maybe be rivals or something :P

Here's an idea I started thinking up last night:

Basically a sort of cross between Liberal Crime Squad and The Secret World. You would take the role of a sort of "Inquisitor" or "Investigator" charged with tracking down randomly-generated instances of paranormal/extraterrestrial activity and maintaining the Masquerade. You would have as much freedom as possible in how you choose to keep the secrets; you would only be punished for failing to keep these events under wraps.

Say someone claims to have an alien corpse in his barn. You show up and quickly determine that he does, indeed, have a space alien. What's more, he killed it himself. Well, you can't have this guy running around leaking secrets, so now you have several choices:
  • Kill the guy, take the alien corpse.
  • Convince him to keep quiet by any means necessary, confiscate corpse.
  • Convince him that it isn't actually an alien.
  • Sneakily replace the corpse with a rubber replica. He can blab all he wants, but all anyone will see is a cheap movie prop.
  • Have him work for you. You never know when you might need an extra gun while banishing demons, or a local set of ears in case the aliens continue showing up at this location.
  • Etc, etc.

Each of these options would have various consequences to deal with. Say you kill the guy, but the cops hear about it and come after you. Do you kill the cops as well and risk further exposing the world? Do you evade them? Do you reveal your true identity and threaten them with life imprisonment/death if they mention anything about it? What other things can you come up with?

It should be all about choices. The game should take place over many decades, with no real "plot" to follow, like LCS. Just do the best you can, and maybe someday humanity will be ready to learn the Truth.

I think we should get this stickied. Its a great idea, and I would hate to see it die. Plus we would get a lot more people if it was always up there :)
If the freaking Happy thread hasn't been stickied, I'm not sure this ever will :P

So's Gregor, technically (as a soldier serving at her fort). Doesn't mean they won't stick with the group; they are PCs after all, and thus don't have to suffer from genre blindness :P

Yeah, but we really only need one shaman. Hell, I can think of a couple games don't even include one playable shaman.

Ah, but the bad guys usually have them by the armful. And let's be honest, right now at least, what side do you think we're really on right now?
Yeah, but I'm hoping we eventually end up on the "right" side. After all, we're a bunch of mercenaries and soldiers following the orders of a vaguely-sinister noble. How often does that happen in RPGs?

I wouldn't really doubt it, but you never know...

This outside observer would like to point out that b12 parties don't often end up on the 'right' side.
Bah, I say! With the possible exceptions of Tantallos and Chris (who fill the Token Evil Teammate slots), none of us are exactly bad guys or girls. My prediction: the party discovers that Prixima is an evil bitch and ends up taking her down. Then maybe go on the run for murdering a countess until they can find evidence to exonerate themselves. But who knows?

27370
I don't think they ever actually murdered any pregnant woman, just the doctors.
Bombs don't tend to be that discriminate.

27371
Agreed. I'd say that one night a week, like a friday night, we should have the animation showcase (or whatever.)

Good idea though, it'll be fun.
I could go for this.

9/10. Much better!

27373
So uh, Link to the Past successor/sequel
Previous page :P

And there already is a 3DS Zelda game, the Ocarina of Time remake.
