Yeah, I kinda wish they explored that aspect a little more. Then again, unlike in 40k where the Inquisitors tend to be semi-heroic figures who do terrible things to prevent even worse stuff from occurring, SW Jedi-Hunters would probably just be portrayed as pure evil given how the Jedi were all but exterminated.

The only real mention of Jedi-Hunting I remember was...I believe it was book 1 of the Star Crusher trilogy. Wedge and his team of deconstructors (tearing down old ruins on Coruscant to make way for new buildings) uncovered a detention, interrogation, and torture facility, equipped with special devices that could read a person's Force sensitivity.

I realize Imperium vs ____ are popular, but tell me, who would they team up with to purge the galaxy of xenos and other resistance? I'm sure there are other humanities out there who share the Imperium's policies/outlook. And could they actually win?

The Imperium and the Empire from Star Wars under Palpatine would be BEST FRIENDS 4 LIEF BEYOTCH.
-Both are humanocentric
-Both are highly brutal, violent dictatorships mostly ruled by fear and overwhelming force
-Both are perfectly okay with annihilating worlds to prove a point/put down a threat
-Both are led by highly charismatic, mystically powerful, (deeply evil) men
-Both conduct brutal purges of individuals with special powers (Jedi/psykers)
-Both have a cadre of special forces dedicated to annihilating their enemies in ground combat, with superior weapons and armor (Space Marines/Stormtroopers (Believe it or not, Stormtroopers are actually very badass when they're written properly. Just ask Timothy Zahn. Also that armor isn't for show.))
-Both utilize HUGE capital ships designed for intimidation and fearsome orbital bombardments
-Both have an insignificant faction (Tau) that will likely supersede them someday :P

But yeah, Stormtroopers are pretty badass. There's a reason they were able to take out Jede who had precognitive abilities.
The Jedi were mostly wiped out by the time the Stormtroopers came about, IIRC. The Clones were responsible for a lot of the Jedi, and there were special Inquisitor-like teams roaming around behind the scenes.

Yeah, SW ships actually use their shipboard weapons for orbital bombardment. They still don't have anything like an Exterminatus short of a Death Star-styled superweapon, but pinpoint strikes from a Star Destroyer's turbolaser battery are still pretty useful.

Sorry :(

And I'm not changing the post to hit the Fighter B. Don't change your posts when I'm replying to them >:U
Wait, what?

27458
Well, he had to make up for his utter lack of earlier damage somehow :D

Quote from: Tantallos vs Spear Cavalier A
Hit: 95+5-14 = 86
Hit roll: 62, hit! Crit roll: 1!
Damage: 16+2-1 = 17x3 = 51!
:o

Wait, so what is the party missing?
Guy's character is Manfred von Richthofen. He made the fantasy equivalent of the Red Baron and nobody noticed.
Ohhh. Now it makes sense.

A thing that makes me nerdrage: People calling Hylians, Elves.
Sure it's nothing compared to other things on this thread, but still.
Or fairies. Grrrrr.

The Imperium has bigger spaceships by a longshot. It also has psykers and competent infantry and armor. And Space Marines. And the Adeptus Mechanicus, which has its own military. And Q would probably be condemned as a heretic and overwhelmed by Inquisitorial psykers, which would be hilarious.
Discounting the Q, all of them, it'd probably be a pretty big morale hit to see their own patriarch fighting against them.
Because there's about 10 million Q or something like that.
How many psykers get sacrificed to the Astronomicon daily? A thousand, something like that? 10 million Q is a lot (assuming they all jump in to the join the fray) but there's at least that many psykers running around to combat them.

: "I need some help over here! They are about to overwhelm me!"

Consume a vulnerary.

((Don't forget to take Hold the Line and Daunt into account, if you haven't already!))

One thing I noticed (and it really keeps tripping me up) is that the beginner's guide claims that spraypainting the crackhouse does not count as a crime. Problem is, as soon as one of my Liberals tag a wall, they are immediately wanted for vandalism, even if there were no other people on the tile and if suspicion doesn't raise.

Considering how many drop-outs we've had recently...might I suggest putting a "Recruiting!" notice in the thread title?
