I don't get it, I never chose anything having to do with dominance over others. Seeking power and knowledge, yes, but I figured I'd get a sage or mage or something  :-\
Well, didja go for any rogue-y answers?
I don't remember, but I don't think so.

I do, but they're pretty small right now. The cult leader has secretly requested several stacks of ectoplasm to sacrifice to the HorrorTerrors, so I'm in the middle of gathering that right now.

WHAT?! That doesn't make any sense at all :/

Small price to pay if I want to keep the Timeshitlords away :|

Oh, that's all you need? My character specializes in Astromancy, so that shouldn't be a problem. I'll queue them up right away!

(a quote pyramid in the making was here)

I have a pact with a clan of Temporal Samurai, and that's about it. Sadly, the world I spawned on has no time crystals.

Now I'm stuck; how the heck do you activate the Mana Modulator in the 22.5th Dimension? I plugged dwarven teeth into the proper sockets and installed the correct number of lightning crystals, but the damn thing refuses to move on to the next stage in the quest. I really need this thing to unlock the next tier of Astromancy spells!

Oh, I remember getting stuck with that quest. You see, they always forget to mention that a specially trained technician of the Terra Magna race has to operate. Ever heard of the "Mana Technician" role and wondered what it was for? Yeah, you need a human one of those to come in and boot it up.
D'oh! Considering the use of teeth, I figured that maybe I needed a dwarf to operate it, but none of them could do it.

I think I saw one of those Timeshitlords wrecking another player's base in the distance. Hopefully I managed to avoid drawing aggro, because I hear these guys are like, post-endgame difficult.

EDIT: Also, what confused me, was that Gregor didn't stab Mage A when he had a chance during Player Phase :P
Partly roleplay, partly uncertainty. Gregor believes that the enemy forces are actually loyal soldiers following corrupt orders, and should be given a chance to spare themselves when surrounded and otherwise doomed. The fact that game mechanics don't support such a thing is beside the point :P

More practically, I wasn't sure if Gregor would hit the mage, or kill him with a single hit, but I knew that getting blasted by the mage at Gregor's health at the time would knock him down for sure. I chose the path that would be less likely to result in fiery death and healed instead.

Dark magic tomes are heavy, IIRC. I'm not surprised you got doubled :|

Boldore solves all Emolga-related problems.
Except when Volt Switch crits and one-shots it. How do you think I tried to win on my first play-through?
What I do is bring a bunch of healing items and let Sturdy take care of that.
Look, I know that it's possible to win. I did it yesterday on this file, and without a Boldore. But for a first-timer it's a very nasty trick, especially when the guy at the entrance specifically tells you that ground types are super-effective. Shame that more than half of the Pokemon in that gym are totally immune!

That was my original point: BW started shaking up what to expect. Pretty much every other electric gym in the series could be defeated by a single ground-type with Dig, and never be in any real danger. Not so for Elesa!

I'm not even sure what this person is arguing for/against.
I think he's arguing for the right to be bigoted toward straight people.

The only people I hate are bigots and hypocrites. >.>
You're bigoted against my bigotry! That makes you the real bigot!

Vidya game soundtracks! Fast-paced battle music, epic sweeping instrumental sections, nice vocals on some of the tracks, even if they aren't in English.

This has nothing to do with any current discussion. It just makes me happy.

Eh, we've got quite a few sword users already. Maybe a knight? They run around in heavy armor a lot (to the point where a lot of normal attacks will bounce right off), but tend to be super-weak to magic.

And getting supports would be up to you and the other players. Trying to base an entire strategy around supports that you might not get could be risky.

Not sure Fire Emblem would work as an RTS, given it's reliance on unique characters and careful number crunching.

A Gundam RTS, on the other hand, could potentially be amazing.
