Demons are real, witches conjure them up.

Said with utmost seriousness by a VERY 'Christian' person. Other topics which he spoke on: How all Muslims are terrorists, how marriage is a Christian construct and that gay people can't get married, gay people are going to hell, and some other choice comments.

I'm cool with people having religion. Religion is a neutral construct, and most people choose to use it for good. Unfortunately, idiots, bigots, and assholes can have religion too. :X
Did he say anything misogynistic? Because if so, he'd qualify for a Most Stereotypical Fundamentalist award.
The "witches" comment would probably do it.
Please say he mentioned something about how D&D is actual witchcraft. The game club at my local high school actually got accused of that :P

I can't remember what the face in the thread title is supposed to represent, but I kinda like it :D

Gregor noted with satisfaction that the two enemies were now cornered and cut off from any reinforcements on this end. It was almost as if the party had planned this!

: "Throw down your weapons and surrender! You will not be harmed!"

He could only hope that the group holding the western entrance were faring as well.

Because I suck at using the orbit map and that ball thing, what would be a good landmark for orienting myself with the cardinal directions during takeoff?  Also, would it be better to go with the rotation of the planet, or go against it?
Well, if you don't rotate your craft when designing it, turn to the right when you're ascending. Going east like this essentially gives you free velocity when you make it into orbit.
In other words, tilt directly away from the VAB, towards the water. That moves against Kerbin's rotation.

I'm just amused that all three options are neck-and-neck-and-neck so far :P

That's why I usually just let it work overnight.

Because black holes are in fact mystic space portals that defy physics and send you through space and time, right?
None of this 'escape velocity >= c' bullshit. Next you will be telling me they don't have spiraling arms!

Black holes: They're basically just a really fucking heavy rock in space. So heavy that their gravity bends light. They're not actually holes, nor are they black.
I remember when I first figured that out, basically all by myself. I was so proud of myself and I didn't even realize that actual scientists probably already knew that :P

Holy crap so many ninjas.

it's more common than you think
I used to want a fedora. Now I don't want to have anything in common with those guys  :-\

As someone who simply enjoys the written language without any sort of academic interest in it, count me in the same group o_o;

Other Games / Re: Terraria - 1.1 released!

It all depends on your point of view, I guess. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I'm happy with my Terraria experience thus far. If we actually do get more content, that'd be great. If we continue to get content, even better. If we never hear anything else again, oh well.

Seriously. It's usually either doom and gloom, rage, or or sheer stupidity from your clients.
