Ender's Game is being made into a movie as we speak. Words cannot express my anticipation.
I really need to read that some time...

DO IT NOW.
I'll have to look for it at the library tomorrow :P

It's pretty obvious now. Incrementing a pointer-to-int does something different to incrementing an int, and you were incrementing the pointers and not the variables that they were pointing to. I think you can do something like *l++ to do this (or maybe (*l)++).
That did it! It was actually this
(*l)++;
What's better, the numbers are now passing correctly to the print function. Thanks a lot!

Isn't & the dereference operator?
I did try that at first, but it didn't help :(

C again :P

This time we read from a source file, count the number of letters, numbers, other characters, total them all, and print the counts. We've been told to use ctype.h (despite not being used in this chapter AT ALL) to determine which category each character falls in to.

Problem is when I try to run the program, I get insanely high counts that cannot be accurate (also the data isn't transferring between functions properly, but one step at a time). Take a look-see and point out my error(s)?

I just realized that with the new rover wheels I don't even need a Monopropelant fueling station on Mun ;_;
Could still be useful to top off any landers. And maybe rovers can still use RCS to get over steep hills or something.

I recently had a game of Spelunkey where everything hated me. Jetpack in the store on the second level. I buy it. Crate near the end of the second level? Jetpack. Store in the third level? Jetpack. Crate in the fourth level? JETPACK.

I can go 50 runs without seeing a single jetpack, and now 4 in one run. I didn't win either.

So I found this while poking through my external.

....Well, Janet just made my day.

I'm pretty terrible at this game, so I felt really proud with what I did today :P

All I wanted to do is get a satellite in orbit. I built the core and associated rocket from scratch and launched it. It started pretty well and steady, but once the solid boosters detached and I began my gravity turn the whole thing began wobbling despite an ASAS and winglets. Nevertheless, I managed to get the whole thing into a slightly lopsided orbit and began using the final stage to fine-tune it.

As I basked in the (meager) glory, I watched the Mun go over the horizon, and my brain began scheming. A quick check revealed that I was approaching the point where I could begin a Munar burn if I wanted. I decided "why the hell not?" and did so. I totally lucked out timed it to a thing of beauty, coming in neatly on the far side of the Mun at a nice 200,000km periapsis. I had more than enough fuel to slow down and equalize my orbit. In fact, there's still enough fuel left for me to crash back on Kerbin if I wanted, though orbit is probably out of the question.

But that is not what I want. I have a satellite in orbit around the Mun, a tested design that can easily reach Minmus if I desired, and the makings of a solid interplanetary probe. Not bad for an hour of fooling around by the seat of my pants! :P

Fuuuuu--

Spring Break is next week. Two of my teachers have already sworn not to give any assignments during the break. This is good.
My C teacher, on the other hand...one assignment given today, due Monday. Another will be assigned tomorrow, due date currently unknown but these things rarely get more than a week of time to be worked on. He has also declared that it will be worth more points and have more questions than a normal assignment. Sadistic bastard  :(

Eh, drunk posting just irritates me <_<;

I'll shut up about it though.

When I get off Drug Court, I'm going to get drunk and post on here, yet remain coherent and not seem like I'm drunk posting. Then, after like six months of that, I'm going to come out and be like, "Btw, I was drunk this entire time."

And Sirus is gonna be like, "I hate you. So much."
Heheheh :P

More seriously, if you can stay coherent when drunk, that's fine and I don't care. For all I know, everyone here is on some sort of mind-altering substance. No! I said I'd drop it and I will >:/

I haven't had time to update yet, so all of these new stock parts are things I just don't recognize.

Can't wait to fool around with these rovers. Maybe they'll be easier than docking or flying to other planets :P
