Can you use your hivemind and magic IT powers to fix my Computer?

It's running Windows 95. I think it may have something to do with the magnet I put in the drive to keep it full when I'm not using a disk. It was the only disclike thing in the house, but I slathered it in Vegetable Oil, so it should be good, right?

I probably have a virus. How do I kill it? I tried deleting some weird files from C:/System 32 but that only made things worse.
I lol'd.

Make doubly sure to say something along the lines of "We did this. May God have mercy on our souls."

Because you never know...even if it wasn't your department, odds are good that the government had something to do with it :P
That's exactly the logic my userbase has. Anything remotely relating to computers that they don't like? *I* did it. As in, me personally. Because all IT people are a hivemind intelligence.
You aren't accusing me of using that logic, are you?

It would not surprise me if some of my parents, relatives, and friends thought I was gay, given how conservative many of them are and the utter lack of anything resembling romance in my life so far.

Let's not. We'll need a weapon triangle advantage against any spear-users in the future :P

Was your teacher's name Jonathon Coulton, by any chance?

Anyway, we're celebrating Pi Day with pie. And cobbler. But mostly pie.

but it's different cuz I'm a boy that likes girls.

We must be the only two on the whole damn forum. Every time relationships come up I'm amazed at how diverse this board is.
Make it three.

How do you "directly steal" an obscure type of beverage by using it as an element of a culture in your work of fiction?

Because it is cheap when you see an alien culture and it goes "OOoOooOoOooh We make blood sausage arn't we so alien?" and you can't help but go "Not really".

Heck I think the Klingons have blood pudding.

and use absurdly silly melee weapons;

Silly melee weapons? I would LOVE to have a Bat'Leth. Damn sword looks badass.
They had some of those at the sorta-Renaissance Faire I went to the other week. Try checking at events like those in your area. Or try online.

I just found out there is a new pope called Francis.

That is all.

I hate fancy hats.
You know what I don't hate? I don't hate vestments.

Thank you :P
De nada.

. . . Apparently I've gotten a phone interview with a company.  Huh.

That was unexpectedly quick.  I guess the personality type test they made me take turned out well.

Its been my experience that "personality tests" by employers are about finding out just how much they can get away with taking advantage of you by low balling your pay and pressuring you to increase performance for the benefit of people other than yourself. But then again, I am rarely called an optimist.
If it means getting a job...who cares?

I've been searching for months and have filled out literally a hundred of these tests and applications without so much as a "sorry, not interested" email. I'm insanely jelly of Vector right now and she hasn't even been offered anything yet.

Going to have to invert this one, due to the nature of the game.

The Walking Dead.
