Pfft, who wants to be Hufflepuff.
Actually, who would want to be in any house besides Ravenclaw or maybe Slytherin.

Slytherin is for pretty boys and thugs. o.O
There's the cunning/plotting ones. They're okay-ish. But they still have to be associated with aforementioned thugs so it's probably not worth it.
What cunning plots? The only Slytherin plot we see that was half-way successful was still figured out and defeated.

But yeah, I'd go for being in Ravenclaw.

F'ING NINJAS.

Distilled water is hypotonic, and can cause your red blood cells to burst.  less blood cells = less oxygen circulation.
less oxygen circulation can lead to death,

so yes, distilled water can kill you.
there is a reason people don't drink distilled water.
Drink enough of any water and it will kill you. It's not like accidentally ingesting a spoonful of distilled water will make you fall down dead on the spot.

Toxic and non-toxic are not mutually-exclusive things. Quantity matters.

Top way of dealing with people who intrude into zoo exhibits.

Let the zoo take care of them.
Until some dumbass is mauled or killed and the animal is put down for being dangerous.
Put down the person who authorises it?
That's called "murder" :P

What country do you live in Valid?
In Australia, not only is drinking tap water safe, but more healthy than bottled water because of the added fluoride. Makes it good for your teeth.

It's also completely safe in the US, and probably every other country that a member of this forum is likely to inhabit.
It varies from region to region, also depending on what the pipes are made of. Like here, the water is okay to drink from the tap but doesn't taste all that great unless you add ice.

Does "not being able to move" mean no actions at all, or just no movement?

I'm looking at the handbook, and I can't see anything in the Death section regarding actions you can take after revival.

Problem is, if I fall back it doesn't look like anyone will be available to defend our healer standing right behind me. Depending on how much HP Ami can recover with her staff, consuming a vulnerary use should give enough HP to survive an arrow (4 damage) and an axe hit (12 damage), especially with my personal skill coming into play (extra defense). It's not perfect, but I can fall back next round and let Sterling or Derick take over.

Unless I'm misreading the map and other orders entirely.

My advice is to enjoy it as a vacation, especially if there's a prospect of getting paid in addition to having airfare covered. I once had to fly several states to pick up a vehicle left behind by a deceased relative, and ended up driving it all the way home. Got to enjoy some fine country cooking and see some very nice scenery on the trip home.

Or Charlotte could circle around to fire over/through the walls.
Not if this is running on Path of Radiance rules, you can't.

Also, I'm guessing I should have Gregor move back? No way will he be able to kill one of those axemen, especially when they have full health.

Or I can just have him pop a vulnerary and see if he can tank another turn.

Not dead (yet). Just drifting out of consciousness.

Sometimes I dislike that bandits, the most common low-level enemy, all wield axes while I prefer spear-wielding characters. This is one of those times :P

Whenever I see X-Com stuff I am always confused if it's the old one or the new one, because I can't remember the various subtitles.

Let me lay it down for you:

XCOM: UFO Defense is the first game. (This game is fun but hectic)
XCOM: Terror From the Deep is the second game. (This game is utter bullshit and will kill you so hard you puke up your facial bones. Also, it is the funnest of all of them.)
X-COM: Enemy Unknown is the newest game. (This game is fun and not very much like the first two.)
You forgot Apocalypse. Or does that one not exist?

I think assignment should simply be based on the order of people requesting a spot versus the order of soldiers on the list. Like, first person to post gets the last  soldier on the list, or the other way around. That way there's no finagling with random-number generators or rolling dice to worry about, and it will be interesting to see which soldiers will be the lucky ones.
