Something tells me that they wouldn't work very well while traveling towards a star, which means that it wouldn't be terribly useful for interplanetary travel or whatever.

And it's not like a flat thing with one textured side, it's round and has the textured side all around it.

« on: February 19, 2013, 12:45:12 am »You say that as though it was a bad thingHave you tried the Hitman series? Although you can blaze away through the levels if you want, the game rewards careful planning, hiding in plain sight via disguise, and some of the best ways to eliminate your targets involved acts of sabotage that were virtually untraceable to you. No minigames either, at least not in Blood Money. It's also freaking hard if you don't play on novice.

« on: February 19, 2013, 12:09:18 am »http://www.icosa.co/2013/02/lockheed-skunkworks-develops-compact-fusion/Fusion has been promised for decades. Honestly, I'll believe it when I see it.
So. Lockheed Martin's Skunkworks are claiming they have come up with a compact, practical way of generating power with fusion. They hope to have a prototype version up within 5 years, commercial version in 10.

General Discussion / Re: [Tomoko~] Because I'm not popular, Ill have an emotion thread (Happy Thread)
« on: February 18, 2013, 08:13:25 pm »Something that the Russian military is supposedly working on, from what I can gather. I'm not sure if was just designed to secure funding, or if the project is already being worked on and this was just released to show off their totally amazing CGI skills.Fair enough. How did thy got rocket's that small powerful enough to blow up a tank? And we would you even have tanks if you have somethign that powerful? Or soldiers?Because propaganda?
Wait... that's propaganda? I thought it was some sort of extended trailer for a game or something.
Since I can't read Russian and Google translate is going me highly nonsensical answers, what is that video actually about? Is it a game trailer, straight up propaganda, a concept video for something they are planning, or what?

Seems to be a general rule in Fire Emblem that if the chance of something happening isn't zero, it'll happen when you least want it to.

« on: February 18, 2013, 07:09:24 pm »What made me sad? I'm playing the Walking Dead video game. Holy crap, I'm on an emotional roller-coaster and I can't get off ;_____;Just finished it. Now some invisible ninjas are cutting onions nearby and I think they stuck a sock down my throat. I can't even remember the last time a work of fiction - and a video game, of all things! - allowed ninjas to affect me so much.Spoiler: OMEGA LEVEL SPOILERS (click to show/hide)
