« on: February 12, 2013, 11:56:46 am »heres your problem, you used some horrid scans to clean out hijacked stuff that since they are highly known, its easy for the malware to dodge the scan. So, MSE failed to find anything. An overnight SuperAntiSpyware scan found some tracking cookies, but nothing else. Now I'm running a full Malwarebytes scan, but I'm wondering if perhaps the service provider was just being really wonky yesterday as everything is working just fine.

if first link failed to installhttp://www.malwarebytes.org/products/chameleon/

do FULL SCAN
possible you might have a rootkit in the system. http://support.kaspersky.com/5350 try running this after the AV scans (note if this is blocked we even got a longer list of shit on this computer that you might as well wipe out)
these known scanners that are able to install on highly infected systems, just requires a Safe mode with Networking.
Well, I suppose there's no harm in being sure. I'm gonna be out of the house for a few hours anyway

@miauw62: The only browser addon I use is AdBlock Plus. If that thing has suddenly turned evil, I doubt I'd be the only one with these issues.
