The battery on my 3DS has gone to hell lately. I'm lucky to get three hours of playtime on a single charge, if what I'm playing isn't particularly demanding and I don't leave it in sleep mode for to long.

I may have to see about installing a new battery.

Well, if your mission is to steal something or take someone off the ship alive, ramming might destroy your objective and cause a mission fail.

Ramming hard enough to cause damage also triggers alarms inside the ship, making it flee to an enemy station. If it was *already* going to an enemy station, it speeds up.

How well optimized is this thing? I only have a low-end laptop to run it on, and I got burned by that last time I sprung for a new game (Hollow Knight runs at sub-30 fps on my machine).

...it meets the requirements listed on the Steam page, but... have any of you guys tried running it on slower machines?
Haven't tried running it on any slower machines. However, I feel like there's some sort of memory leakage going on with it. Over time, it runs slower and slower until I restart the program, and it seems to run worst inside the stations (somehow). I can counteract the slowdown for a while, but eventually I'm hitting single-digit framerates constantly.

Welp, lost my first character. Was doing the Foundry Stronghold mission, everything was going smoothly. I killed the pilot (he was armored, so AP Longblade was the only way to go), took command, set course for the stronghold...and discovered that I had a mere 3 seconds to get off the ship.

This character had had poor luck with drops, with only a single swapper for teleportation power and no slipstreams to give myself more time. I did the only thing I could think of: run to the nearest window and blast it open with a concussive shotgun, launching myself into space.

That should have worked, and I took control of my pod right away. Only, it didn't. My character seemed to get pinned to the front of the ship, rather than drift away from it as I had intended. What's worse, I seemed to lose control of my pod at some point in the mad rush. As in, it stopped responding to my commands. Whatever the hell happened, the siege ship rammed the stronghold and I found myself back at my home base, with little to nothing to show for it.

I once had a mission to steal something valuable from one of the bigger ships. At one point during the infiltration, the ship flew too close to an enemy station or something, because a few rooms near the front got blown away by missiles. I didn't worry about it until I neared the room containing my goal... only to discover it sealed by a level 6 lock. With the level 6 key card nowhere to be found. As far as I can tell, the guard or terminal had been located in one of the destroyed rooms.

This was before I knew that subverters could open doors. I didn't have the Brick at the time, nor did I have visitors unlocked for sale at my home base. So, I did the only logical thing: I slowed the ship down to as close to a standstill that I could manage...and then I took my pod and went hunting. Eventually, aboard a Glitch vessel, I found a single-use Visitor device. I brought it back to my objective ship, jumped in, and grabbed what I needed. Personal mission complete.

Aight, we still have a lot of people down and not a lot of time to get them up. I'm thinking that anyone who isn't busy holding the line should start vulning. I can have Gordon Recover Kaarina, which would allow him to keep Guarding Kat.

Actually, looking at the map we can actually fall back just a bit. Kat can move to (5,17) or (7,18). Gordon can move to Kaarina's right before healing her, probably guarding Kat at the same time. Lycan and Seraphim can move back, maybe healing Vandertz if either of them have items, and stay within Gordon's aura.

If all goes well (yeah, knock on wood), we'll be in a better position to deal with upcoming turns. If we can blob up and get everyone out of the danger zone, I think we'll have this map in the bag.

Do L3 keys open 1 & 2 locks as well? I assume they must but I've yet to be in a situation where I could test it.
