I'm fairly certain the statue is of a young Aang because he was young when he ended the war. It's not like they didn't have hundreds of references to work with when they started building the statue (remember the wanted posters from the first series?).

(just my minor nitpick)

Turned in my first incomplete assignment of the semester...probably won't be the last.

I once had a game of that where at least 50% of the rolls where FUCKING. SEVEN.
As a non-Catan player, I take it that's bad?

Huh. Do you live in an entirely land-locked state or something?

What decision, if you don't mind us (me) asking?

I shouldn't feel this way but.. I kinda don't want to say. It should be obvious from that thread where I made a fool of myself though :/
No worries, we've all got things to keep private.

Unless we have the ability to replace population workers with say, steam-driven robotics or cult-controlled golemns? Mwhahahaha.

Likely.
Cease your auditory output and accept my units of currency!

Do they sell cheap-ass frozen shrimp that aren't popcorn shrimp? If so, I might have to visit the frozen foods aisle.
They should. I can't vouch for how good they'll be, but I'm pretty sure most grocery stores will sell some.

Pretty sure I've said this before (seems to be a common topic here!), but I enjoyed Korra. Not as much as TLAB, but it tried some different things and I thought the characters were pretty interesting. And let's not forget

Well, at least Hans here didn't get hauled off.

But seriously dude, you really need to go to those classes if your continued freedom is at stake >:|

New pictures, of Mars at night.
Bah. I was hoping for images of the night sky, maybe trying to find one of Mars' moons. or a horizon image. Instead we get more pictures of the rocks and stuff :|

At what point does killing ships with nothing but ion blasts switch from clever tactic to violation of Geneva convention?
I don't think those exist in FTL :P

Besides, unless you pick up craptons of ion weaponry you won't be able to do it past sector three or so. Enemies start getting too many shields for a single ion weapon to take down.

Fine, fine...

This development is hilarious. You should suddenly be nice to him and encourage his musical aspirations. and ruthlessly murder him. arrange an "accident" for him.

That is the impression I get from people's comments. If I have a neutral expression, they start asking me what's wrong, or if I'm mad at them.
And usually they're right. :P
Oh hey Hans, how'd the prison thing turn out?
