Holy crap you guys take your Pokemon seriously.

All I do is go...

"Oooh! It's a Grimer! I'll use this! I know this one evolves into something funny!"

"Oooh! Magnemite! Does this evolve? No idea but I like him."
...+1.

For the first type of drama, I would nominate Samurai Jack, if you ignore the more comedic episodes. Avatar, especially the Korra series, also had it's moments.

I can't stand the second type of "drama", so I have no suggestions for that.

Avatar is the best cartoon. This is simple fact.

Facts are actually opinions and may or may not have any basis in reality. Failure to treat the above statement as the semi-joke that it is will get you mocked without mercy. All rights reserved. Additional pseudo-legal text here. All ponies are best pony.
...

Of one variety.

What would be the best Drama Cartoon?
...Define "drama" first. Are we talking classic Shakespearean drama, or "OMG my bff unfriended me!!1!" drama?

First run with a Mantis ship just decided to screw me over in the worst way. I'm in the seventh sector with an efficient, brutal boarding party. I've just gained the upper hand against another mantis ship with dual ion bombs, breach missiles, and burst lasers. My team is rampaging around the hole-filled enemy ship, hunting the final crew member currently fixing the shields in a futile attempt to defend itself. Just as they burst into the shield room, a frightened, half-dead Engi inside...

The enemy ship blows up from fire damage, taking my two max-skill Mantises along with it. The timing was so perfect, I can only assume that the poor bastard Engi managed to trigger a self-destruct sequence of some kind rather than be ripped apart by two killer bugs.

Now my boarding party is two no-skill Rocks that had previously been my fire-fighting team. This is gonna suck...

*getting rid of the quote pyramid ftw*

First off, according to Wookiepedia the Death Star's laser, when fired at maximum planet-popping power, takes at least 24 hours to recharge. Unless the Battle of Endor took several days to conclude, it was clearly firing at significantly less power.
And would this reduced power actually split apart planets?
...And if it did, wouldn't that just make the whole thing come together, with the heavier elements and compounds (including just about all the useful ones) to end up in the middle of the new planet?
At that reduced level of power? No. But the point is that the Death Star can vary it's output from "Alderaan destruction" to "blow up a space ship" to (presumably) just about anything in between.

The material probably would start to clump together...after thousands of years of drifting. Plenty of time to scoop up anything tasty and move on to the next thing.
Just remember how the Moon likely formed; a large space rock ran into a young Earth and blew off a bunch of large chunks. Over thousands, if not millions of years, the debris slowly gathered together until it became the big glowing thing we can see some nights.

For the second question...
"Witness the firepower of this fully armed and operational battlestation!"

Sirus has been quite content lately.

He is 24 years old, born on the 14th of October.

He is skinny. His hair is short. He is clean-shaven. His chin and nose are unremarkable. His blue eyes are somewhat baggy. His head is somewhat round.

He is almost never sick, but is quick to tire.

Sirus likes native gold, rubies, chairs, the color yellow, and cats for their aloofness. When possible, he prefers to consume root beer, cheese, and fruit. He absolutely detests wasps.

He has an active imagination and likes to make friends,
but is somewhat clumsy and scatterbrained.

He is slow to anger. He can handle stress. He is willing to help others. When he gets confused, he talks to himself. He needs caffeine to get through the working day. He likes working outdoors and enjoys inclement weather.

did you see what happened to Alderaan? it just poped!
That was at full power. The Death Star could be used at lesser strengths to simply break large objects open.
And where do you get the proof for this?
Well, there's the fact that it was used to destroy ships. Those weren't full-power blasts it was shooting! Hell, in comparison to the planet-busting power that was miniscule.

I'm just wondering what the purpose of the thread is, is all. We've got lots of random discussion threads.

Romney would've funded a Death Star immediately. He probably had the $850,000,000,000,000,000 lying around and he also looks like a younger Palpatine.
NEW THEORY: Romney and Obama are Palpatine and Mace Windu in their younger forms, and will soon be summoned to the past alongside their families to put humans in a distant galaxy, before being time-shifted farther to the future when only a handful of Obama's descendants remain.
...It's good to release some of the insanity I'm exposed to on a daily basis from you guys.

Anyways, what good would a Death Star be? We only have one planet. It's as stupid to build as a club which explodes with the force of a nuclear warhead whenever it's used!
What are you talking about? We have seven spare planets in this solar system alone, not to mention hundreds of  dwarf planets and moons!
WHY WOULD YOU DESTROY THEM?!?!?!
And I don't think the Death Star affects gas giants.
All those delicious minerals and rare elements, of course! Imagine how much easier it would be to mine asteroids and the like if we could crack them open first.

Wasn't there another movie before that one with Mew and Mewtwo? Back in the old days, when there were 151 pokémon and pokémon was considered the coolest thing since ever by younglings across the world? I remember that since you got a pokémon trading card (a Mewtwo) when you saw it at the cinema and everyone played that back then, or at least collected the cards.
Yes, there was. That was the one with the magical Pokemon tears bringing Ash back to life.
