My initial, and still major, problem with FF is... The name is FINAL fantasy, and there are ****ing TWENTY OF THEM.
Oh, is that all? :P

No, but if I explain why I hate anime style animation, people are going to try and convert me and I'm going to call them bad words and get muted, so we aren't going there.
I was trying to make a joke about the number of games, not your reason for disliking them. Oops.

I've checked the wiki, and it's pretty vague on the topic, so I thought I'd ask here.

I decided to give the newest version a try after not playing much since the 40d days. I decided to start a reasonably challenging fort by building in an evil biome, hoping for eyeball grass and evil fogs, maybe a nearby necromancer. Instead, I get the infinitely-rising-undead areas, which kill my forts before they can even get off the ground - both figuratively (frustration due to unending job cancellation spam and the inability to do work for more than a few real-life seconds) and literally.

I tried two forts on a small world (which only had one pocket of evil to build in) and another fort on a medium world (which is nearly 50% evil, if the site finder is anything to go by), and all three have led to the same outcomes. Having to repeatedly kill the same corpses over and over again isn't the right kind of fun for me. Should I give up on an evil fort, or are there evil areas where this does not happen?

Oh. I see. I don't... Like FF at all. So. That's why I don't know who she is.
+1. If you're gonna give me a JRPG, give me something from the Dragon Quest/Dragon Warrior series.

OK, the same guy just said that it's used as a creationist argument.

I've asked him if he knows what a creationist is.
The variable-speed-of-light hypothesis is (or was) used as a creationist argument. Clearly, the speed of light used to be faster, and thus the universe (and Earth) is only about 6,000 years old rather than the 14 billion according to what we can see of the universe.

I don't make it up, I just report it :|
H-h-how does that even work?

WAT!?
My brain is melting!
Like I said, I just report it. I don't even begin to try and follow it.

battlefleet gothic video game  :'(
I assume you want something turn-based? Because plenty of games have real-time spaceship combat.

A Mount and Blade with Co-op multiplayer would be nice.

I'm pretty sure there's a mod that does this, to a limited extent.  One person plays the game as normal, while the game sort of holds everyone else in reserve.  When the main player enters a battle, other players are able to take control of any npc present.  I forget what it's called and haven't tried it myself.

I'd want that, too bad the description is too vague.

You know what I think I know what game I want to exist

A fun game that I'd want to play that won't disapoint me that will leave me being fulfilled.

I want to play a great game that I cannot ruin for myself.
Speaking of being vague...

Both of those things will have to be consigned to the "hypothesis" bin until there's some actual proof behind them. And thus the dinosaur vs ninja battle will have to remain unknown for now.

Aren't you a woman now? O_o

Women can like women.
Yeah, but if DrPoo went from being a straight man to being a lesbian woman...I'm not entirely sure how much has changed  ???
Ah geez, my stupidity is showing...

Did the Indie Gala 8 bundle get a drawing yet? I don't remember seeing it, but I've missed a day or two on the forums :|

it's a "proper" hypothesis, formulated by real scientists
There's a reason why "proper hypotheses" are not typically included in science textbooks, you know :x

And some of the comments on that page are just plain lulz-worthy.
