31% of democrats would not vote for a gay or lesbian president. If the democrats tried for a gay president then they could potentially lose 15% of the vote just on Democrats they'd turn away.
I don't even want to know what the statistics are on the groups that weren't included, mainly trans and disabled. Admittedly these numbers are on the rise, but they're still not good yet.

I have to say though, that Mecha!Roosevelt (Teddy or Franklin) would be pretty kickass.

Well, most of my previous dreams have gone to the "WTF" thread, but considering how frequently I've been getting them lately I better start posting here 
Last night, I had a dream that a bunch of anime, cartoon, otherwise-fictional, and even historic figures were forced to live in a house together, Big Brother-style. They included Malcom Reynolds, Hinata, Pongo, Asuka, and even freaking George Washington. There may have been crime fighting involved, but I don't remember enough to be sure.

It seems like different companies and governments own different translations. In the U.S., the rights are owned by Houghton Mifflin, but in other countries the respective governments own the rights.
