Assuming that actually pans out (heh, mining joke), I've gotta figure out how to get in on something like that. I bet the people doing the labor will be extremely well-paid.

The above gets even funnier when you remember that Truean is actually a lawyer :P

No one's forcing you to actually get the DLC, you know :P

Besides, it's not like these are the first games in the Humble Bundles to have DLC.

They would magically not exist if we got rid of all government spending.
Given enough time and no access to resources, eventually that would become technically true...
Out of sight, out of mind.  They technically are not considered homeless if they are in jail, I would think.
Actually, I was referring to the possibility of them starving to death. But your's is good too.

Actually, escort missions are easy if you take your time. The Thin Men only show up in a couple of waves in my experience, based on how close the civilian/politician/whatever is to the Skyranger. And of course they never target the civilian before you get close enough to activate them.

Ohh SUPER slow.
Yes, but it also minimizes your odds of losing either one of your valuable soldiers or the mission objective.

Honestly, the only times that speed is a requirement are
A) Bomb missions
B) One of your dudes is in trouble and needs cover so he can retreat.

Little known, I am an Orangebottle alt.

So, by contact, I suppose you mean pm? I'll get right on that.
We're all Orangebottle alts...and Orangebottle is an alt of Pathos.
Wait, is Orangebottle a Pathos alt or is Pathos an Orangebottle Alt?
Yes.

I live in those places. However, my dad liked the games and didn't really care what I played.

Whoa, we're headed for a derail here :o
Um...Thin Men are OP?

The only problem here is that the game is rated M, and I'm only 12
(DON"T JUDGE ME!) :-[
Honestly, I consider age ratings nonsense. I played Halo when I was about... 10 to 12. And Halo is far more violent than XCOM.

Did I grow up to be an unstable monster? ...Not really.
I was playing Turok (the N64 game) around that age, which if anything was even more violent :P

Has performance increased any, or has it gotten worse?

Even so, they seem to be doing a decent job at it so far :)
