Check out TB's WTF is... of it as well. It's wonderful. That's the thing that sold me on this game, funnily enough. I mean, I was already keeping an eye on it, but the fact that TotalBiscuit (a man widely known for his frustration and dislike of puzzle games) adores it was the clincher.
I'm usually not an advocate of political violence, but... okay, everyone where I live will tell you that I'm a frequent, enthusiastic and vocal supporter of political violenceCuz beating people up is illegal and immoral?Seriously though: Why don't we just start beating these people up? Nothing serious, just a few broken bones; it's not like all of them have bodyguards like Obama.
gauss cannons can't be turreted correct? so I should mount them on fast ships to have a higher TS?No, they can. A quad gauss turret with a high fire rate makes an excellent PD gun.
That's due to gameplay-and-story-segregation and you know it <_<I imagine that hunting them all down would take too much time and effort. You can't check every single person each day to find out whether they're an alien or not.You don't need to check everyone when they all look the same. Same suit, same glasses, same skin, same combover. Thats not exactly hard to spot. ._.
I agree with Beagle. Ha.
((Genetic manipulation isn't easy, you know.))Considering how much trouble WE have with the uncanny valley, its hard to blame the aliens in this case.
Maybe they intended to use them during later negotiations/whatever (It's easier to talk to someone similair than to a starfish alien) but dived straight into the uncanny valley.
That's what Thin Men are forAny other forms were probably cut for some reason. I'm not really sure what other forms it could have used, as it's already got the high-offense spider form and the high-defense disk form, plus the ability to change between them essentially at will. The cyberdiscs and sectopods aren't 2x2 units?
Well... I honestly have no idea. Let me check...
FAKEEDIT: Neither of them are 2x2. Cyberdiscs just barely fit into a square when folded up, and Sectopods (and expanded Cyberdiscs) kinda spill into the surrounding squares but are still 1x1 units.
Also, weren't the Cyberdiscs supposed to more forms than spider/disc, or am I just mis-remembering things?
Cassette-player form for infiltration?
