Speaking of awesome music, I just downloaded the entire soundtrack for Advance Wars: Days of Ruin. Probably the best music in the series, with tons of heavy guitar and drums.

Here's one of my favorites.

Mein gott that guitar is tasty!  Seriously, I can't find any other way to adequately describe it.

badumbaumdumdumdum.  I'm going to be humming that the rest of the day.

I'm changing my stance on Days of Ruin, I'm going to give it a try.  This delicious music has convinced me.  Seriously, with music this good there's no way the game could be bad.
Just keep in mind that it's still an Advanced Wars/Nintendo Wars game in terms of mechanics. If you didn't like the gameplay of previous titles, then you probably won't like this :(
The story is the best in the series, though.

I'd hazard a guess as to which NPC you're likely referring to, but I want to avoid spoilers for the uninitiated <_<;

ETA: The website I got the soundtrack from also has the Dual Strike music, but not all in one handy .rar file. As much as I like some of those tunes, manually downloading 67 different files is not something I look forward to :P

PTW. Looks pretty cool, though I'm a little leery of purely text-based systems to be honest.

And thus why, despite what the naysayers claim, a theoretical undead infection won't simply be a case of "call the military and have it over in less than a day with minimal casualties".

Well, I tend to agree. In just about any pandemic, what seems to determine the overall severity is the speed and effectiveness of the initial response. If official help is slow, and ignorance and panic reign, then things will rapidly turn into trouble and take forever to sort out. If, on the other hand, there is a fast and strong response, the "pandemic" can end before it even starts.

As if! My local mediocre player only has two concussions AND he was acquitted of all charges.
But your local mediocre player still spent a week in jail, and he was obviously guilty!
There was only circumstantial evidence!
But your local mediocre player's girlfriend was clearly killed by your local mediocre player! It's so obvious!
But your local mediocre player's mother's cat was held for ransom by your local mediocre player! What kind of scumbag does that?!
I'm bored, are you bored? :p

Saw one of the crappiest movies ever today. Supposedly, it was such a major flop back in the fifties that the director never directed again. Yet somehow it gained some recognition and was preserved in the Library of Congress in the 90s. Not sure how.

30087
So...how 'bout that local sports team?
My local sports team can get way more pointgoaltouchdownscores than yours, so nyah :P

Plus there's the whole "they come at you from any side and you might not even notice them until it's too late" thing. But that's for another thread.

World War Z official trailer

Why does this make me rage?  Because as far as I can tell it has absolutely nothing to do with the book.  The book was great, why not make a movie that follows the book?  Why even use the title from the book if absolutely nothing was taken from the book?

Blarglebargleragebargle.  *foams at the mouth a bit*
I...what?

Okay, we know that the record for movies-based-on-books isn't all that great. And I can accept having a completely new tale to tell in a WORLD WIDE ZOMBIE WAR, and not following the book word-for-word.

But...I don't even know. They seem more like the running rage zombies from 28 Days Later instead of staggering zombies. How could they miss such a fundamental part of the book?
