My graphics card is crap, so I couldn't set up profiles for individual games. Or maybe I can from a completely different window than I found.

For RCT, at least, I was able to get the game to run in 256 color mode, which doesn't seem to mess up the icons. Is that what you meant by "native color depth"?

If problems persist, then yes I will switch to Classic theme. Aero is just so pretty :P

Forcing it into something, anyway. However, it's not the only game or program that corrupts the cache.

Is there any way to prevent this from happening? I wouldn't think that simply changing color modes could screw up unrelated systems.
Are you running Windows 7, and if so does it change it to Windows 7 basic? I know Civilization 4 does this for me. As far as I know there isn't a way to disable this, and it changes due to incompatibilities.
Yes to both questions. However (and I just tested this) Civ 4 does not corrupt the cache.

I don't really have a problem with the color scheme changing, I just want to know if there's a reason why doing so messes up icons for any and all programs, and how to prevent the corruption from occurring.

Sorry for the self-necro, but this is a recurring problem. It mostly seems to happen when a program, especially older ones like Roller Coaster Tycoon, force a change to a different color scheme. Whenever that happens, I need to rebuild the icon cache and restart the computer, which is a bit of a hassle to be honest.

Can anyone hazard a guess as to why this keeps happening?

Without wishing to spoil too much, they even had Sonic the Hedgehog doing a PSA like he did in his old cartoon. So much freaking nostalgia. The animated short they had before the movie itself was pretty good as well, almost 2.5-D.

Saw Wreck-It Ralph today. SO MANY REFERENCES. Even the Konami Code!

Of all the times to get a freaking cold. I've been so busy blowing my nose and taking naps that I haven't put a single word down today. Crapzors.

I thought it was for setting up huge battles and lording over them like a spiteful, particularly malevolent Armok.
Or for downloading Spacebuild, only to find out that it refuses to work despite following a tutorial to the letter >_>

Yes, over his delusional belief that I sabotaged his alarm clock for no reason.
Get him 10+ alarm clocks all set to go off at the same time.
Nonono. Get 10+ alarm clocks, set to go off between 1-5 minutes of each other in sequence. If he's the type to hit the snooze button, he won't be able to get back to sleep. If he gets up, he'll have to stop getting ready every 1-5 minutes to turn off another alarm.

This game is HARD!
Even on easy!
After failing several times I tried to do a pacifist run instead.
That failed as well..
No such thing. If you can't deal damage, you can't defeat the final boss. There are also sometimes enemies that disable your engines, preventing you from escaping.

Yeah... but damn those are some horrible reviews.  What a shame.  It looked like a fun action film that was going to have a really unique and memorable visual style.
Bah, what do reviews know? Give it a shot, you're allowed to like stuff!

Wow, Disney doesn't waste any time at all.
...that's been there AT LEAST 20 years. May I say "epic fail" on your part?

A youtube video, about how Darth Vader was at Disneyland, came out two days ago. They work really, really fast.
Again, been there for a while, but not 20 years.

I'm ending day 1 at 2,180. That's not bad, right?
